Hmmmmm, I thought Tanya Adkins was the LEA, or the ESEP lead teacher. She is ALWAYS listed under that and the principal is listed under principal. Due Process is sooooo expensive. File state complaints, they are cheaper and the best route to start with. I will ask this question again.....if the IEP states one on one para and they don't have one.....who takes the fall for that? The case manger? Principal? ESEP dept at the BOE? How can the Paulding County School District just NOT provide what is written in a child's IEP?

So the child had a para and the "team" voted to remove her? Let's say a principal has the knowledge of an ESEP child not being served by the correct services/personal...and does nothing. What happens then? The BOE will not provide the proper staff that is written in the IEP, so who takes the fall? (I ask Kim Cobb this same question and she never responed. ) Just wondering if Pubby had the answer.

I would rather not run her name in the mud. It was a simple thought, maybe someone has bone to pick with Jennifer's Pet Rescue. It happens. I see no need to make a list of other's opinion's on her rescue. I don't feel the need to turn the topic into a war zone.

I was thinking the same thing. I have heard so many awful things about her rescue from people. (before you guys send to hell, I have never had any interaction with her, except for seeing her animals in front of petsmart)

The one that got me thinking this morning..... One girl wrote something along the lines, my boyfriend will never leave me for...and actually wrote the girls name. The mother of the boy, posted under. "don't be so sure of yourself". I have seen mother's tell their daughter's boyfriend's to not have any friends that are girls. Too me that's a little nuts. So the teenager's are all into their facebook and myspace, do you as a parent have their passwords and moniter their activities? Another thing I am seeing, parents of other children are sending friend request to my child. For some reason I don't think that's a good idea. Thoughts? Finally, I have read what parents are posting on their children's status and other children's status, and I have to wonder why grown women are acting like teenagers. I feel like some parents are really over stepping the boundries by using facebook to communicate with other people's children. Thoughts...am

Rough week.....

Before saying the parents don't give a damn, try and talk to them. My oldest does stupid crap and I am thankful when someone calls and tells me. (it's hard to have a come to Jesus meeting with the police there!) We have dead bolts, sliding locks on the windows, and hotel type locks on our doors that slide and will not open. We use the garage to come and go. Final cost, about $40....the feeling of sleeping easy...pricless.
