Northern states salt before the ice gets thick on the roads. The first site of a "good" snow they are plowing. GDOT said this storm caught them off guard and cost of the storm will be 8 million. (per channel 2 news) Also, they are now asking contractor's for help. UMMMMMMMMMM...... poor planning, if GA power can call in 1,500 extra workers, GDOT could have handled this storm better. PLEASE DON'T CALL ME AN IDIOT, THIS IS MY OPINION, EVERYONE HAS ONE!!!!!!

They have messed up with this storm. I too, would think the interstates would be at the top to clean. I guess not living all my life in GA, and coming from a state with actual raod crews, I "thought" GDOT would do a better job. I hate to see the truckers losing their wages to sit and wait for days, for Atlanta to re-open! On a side note, I am wondering how in the world Nathan Deal made it to be sworn in? I would love to see pictures of the roads he traveled.

Some people really have to work for every penny they can, not everyone comes from money!! Selfish?
