When people talk about a "road", as it relates to hunting, that means a county or state-maintained road. So you can't just get out of your car and shoot a deer that's on the side of the road, regardless of the distance from a house. Laws are going to be different from state to state. Logging-type roads on private property aren't considered, "roads" when it comes to the hunting rules and regulations. Here I agree with you. The way to defeat terrorism is to not be afraid. Passengers should be taught how to be vigilant on flights. For instance, if a passenger starts messing around inside his pants, then someone should say something. If he tries to light a match to his shoe, then the person next to him should blow it out!
