Okay, so you probably already knew this about the Geico "Boss" who seems just perfect for the part. It's Brian Carney, son of the late Art Carney of "The Honeymooners".

I think that everyone has had experiences that could be interpreted as supernatural. Objects at rest tend to stay at rest, right? So how could the picture just fall off the nightstand? The human imagination is a wonderful thing and it's the source of all things supernatural. Just think. If a "ghost" could pass through solid objects, how would it provide a solid surface area to move an object? When you get to the point of making up your own rules for what "ghosts" can do and not do, you know for sure that it's the imagination at work. The laws of nature remain in place. Just because you don

I didn't even know that LPPT was jujuish!

The problem is that those who have been perpetuating the discrimination were not going to come up with a viable plan unless compelled to do so by law. Now they have to act to remedy their own discriminatory practices. I would think that it would treat married gays like married heterosexuals. What's the problem?

That's not too bad, actually. Seafood platters usually range from about $14 - $17 (when I have seafood, it's usually the combination platter). If the food is good, I'm there!

Did You See The Shooting At Panama City BOE meeting?
eym_sirius replied to eym_sirius's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Did you check out the second shot? The first shot went directly at the super. He brought the gun down and it went off at the floor! He took a round in the shoulder (it looked like) and shot another time or two randomly at the board members who were already ducking/diving for cover. Still not sure when it was that he shot himself.... -

He's the worst shot -- ever -- if he was trying to hit anybody. -

Here's a different piece of information. I ran a search through the criminal database and he was an ex-con. Spent four years in the joint. http://www.dc.state.fl.us/InmateReleases/detail.asp?Bookmark=1&From=list&SessionID=231920955 -

You were right about the bullets - They were real. Holes in the wall and all-that. There was speculation, starting with the board members that they were blanks. That speculation came right after the guy was on the ground. There was no shot after he was on the ground, though -- unless it came way later. I can't get over the lady who tried to knock the gun out of his hand with her purse! It was heroic, but...... -
It's not clear from the reports I saw, if the gun had blanks. There was a lady who sneaked up behind the gunman - AND HIT HIM WITH HER PURSE!!! He just pushed her down and didn't shoot at her.
-
Hmmmm --- so you're familiar with the area??? Hypothetically, if you were going to dump a body......
-
Or -- he's found a better, more secluded dump site. Weird as it sounds, there's a class of psychopaths that likes to revisit the corpse. They're more likely to select a dump site that won't reveal their visits or the victims.

Ceremony Where People Bow Down To Dead Pig's Head?
eym_sirius replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Its a ceremony where the cast of a series asks for success, as production of the series nears. Into the mouth of the pig, the stars place their hopes for success. -
Yes, in some places the body must be embalmed if it is not going to be cremated right away.
-
I agree with the first part, but disagree with the second part. I think that it's a personal decision and they should be ABLE to be buried, cremated, whatever - BUT it's not off limits. I think that people should be considerate of future generations and not litter the countryside with their remains. They shouldn't put the expense of burial on their relatives and shouldn't put the upkeep on anyone else. They shouldn't hold up traffic and inconvenience hunrdeds of other people just because they didn't consider the other person when they made their plans.
-
Since I was coerced to attend a funeral the other day, it got me to considering all kind of things that are death-related. I understand that people for a long time have been buried in ornate caskets (?) , but I really don't see the point. It seems that one day we'll have more real estate taken up with the dead than the living!

I'm just glad that you got one of my double-entendre jokes! Back in the day, I saw Emo at a comedy club -- somewhere in Atlanta. He was hilarious! His delivery was flawless.

Hose, heels and skirt - I have no doubt that you could pull it off ,GGGM! Oh - I just noticed the siggy. I love emo!! Every now and then I go to YouTube and laugh!

Cleavers are very handy! A Beaver Cleaver, though -- It's like something you'd see in a horror movie! Oh yeah - back to cordial. I hope that you scored some major tips at the party!!! Yes! Dress up for cooking! And for serving! Hoes/biotches (I first typed, "biotechs") can be quite cordial, so they say....

Bitches an' hoes! Two raised their hands, indicating membership, but the categoryof each was not determined. It was a clarifying question to determine bitchitude or hoedom. "Which is which" allowed both participants an equal opportunity to state a preference, if any exists. (sorry, I frequently have to explain my attempts at humor)
