Aren't hives usually food-allergy related? Shellfish, nuts -- anything like that in your diet -- or anything different in your diet the day that you had your breakout? How about a change in shampoo or clothes-washing detergent? What I'm getting at is making sure that you're not still exposed to the allergen. Benedryl should have knocked it down.

Benedryl makes a topical spray that might help relieve localized itching.

GGGM - When you move away from civilization, you have to be ready to catch, clean, and cook your own! You may want to visit youtube to study tutorials on setting snares for land animals or rigging baits for big fish. There are also some awesome tutorials on the processing and preparation of personally taken fare. Hey, are the bugs really big down there?

I think that a number of young people have a misunderstanding of private property that belongs to a business. My perception is that many folks (not JUST young people) think that a business that is open to the public makes that property "public property". You see people congregating at strip malls, etc. just "hanging out". They have no right to be there. The parking lot is for people who are conducting business at those establishments. When the establishments close, that does not make the parking lot a public use facility. In the case of the sagger who was arrested, his att

The right? This is the part that I agree with. Regardless of what the business is, an employee can ask you to leave the premises if your mode of dress is substandard. If the individual does not comply, then that person is trespassing I think that unless a person is breaking the law or otherwise distubing fellow travelers, a flight attendant SHOULDN'T ask him to change. But she absolutely has the right to make the request.

11 Alive rates days from 1-11 on the "Wizometer"

I think that the change in seasons adds to the quality of life. If this is "your season", then it's a great time for you! If you prefer cooler temps - that's what an 11 (in this case) is for you, then you have much to look forward to. In the fall there will be that first cool breeze that brings a kind of vitality into your being! Then, when it turns really cold again, you long for that warming spell that means that "your time of year" is just around the corner! You'll notice that I left out those who like really cold weather. I really don't understand those people!! -

Don''tcha think that's the point - Not being the same as everyone else? It could be worse - we could live in a state that doesn't have days that rank an 11 (for 11Alive) ! -

9.1% Unemployment rises 2nd month in a row

So you think that passing the budget is a function of the Executive Branch and not the Legislative Branch? Did you stay awake in civics class, assuming that you attended high school? It's this profound ignorance that is exploited by the Republicans. Republican leaders attack the President for not passing legislation on the economy, despite the fact that passing legislation is the defining job of --- legislators, you know, law-makers - CONGRESS! To continue to parrot this convolution of the functions of the different branches of the government just show yourself to be ignorant or -

I'm not sure that you're up to an intelligent conversation. However, I'll try one more time. Try reading for comprehension before you respond. CONGRESS votes on and passes the budget. It's not the President's job. Look it up if you need to. It's a function of Congress. This fact doesn't change due to a change of the party in power of Congress. My point is that, partisan politics aside, CONGRESS abdicates its responsibility to take care of business, I understand that your whole schtick is the divisiveness of party politics. But this is just more of the problem that seeks to obscu -

Aren't you leaving out the Republican majority Congress for 6 years? Six of Bush's eight years was Republican controlled where there were no vetos and he signed everything that came his way. The Republican Congress was thrown out on its ear due to the graft/corruption that was running rampany in the party. The Republicans screwed up so badly that voters took the unusual action of throwing some of the bums out - not enough of them! What I'm saying is that EVEN THEN, it was CONGRESS who abdicated their responsibility, allowing the White House to craft legislation that Congress woul -

It's the job of CONGRESS to make and pass the budget. It's not the President's job, for those who think that it is. The only way that the situation changes is for citizens to vote out House of Representatives members and Senators. THEY are the ones who don't want to take a stand by actually doing anything. Throw the bums out! Right??? All of 'em!! Here's the problem. Voters won't do what is best for the country, either. When voters fail to act, they're telling the corrupt politicans, "You're doing a heck of a job!" So voters would have to be willing to vote out Isakson, Chambliss, -
Just the other day, I was thinking of the possibility to manipulate the brain for positive advantage. This story, I think, reinforces the liklihood that some brain functions can be altered. There needs to be more research done into this area. A while back, I heard of a guy who had a brain injury and when he came out of his coma, he could play the piano by ear, flawlessly. He could also create music, even though he had never had a lesson. About FAS, I'd like to see a video ofthe British woman who woke up speaking with a Chinese accent?

Discovering whether a business is a commerce member should be pretty easy. Just click on the Directory in the upper left corner of any PCOM page! Directory Ad: [flash=728,304]http://www.paulding.com/directory/images/dir/westmetro.swf That's me, too. Meat was great! I think that I've never bought produce there.

You make a really good point. If you think about all of the people in the world of celebrity status, eventually they'll be dropping like flies. Well, flies that just got sprayed with insecticide.... If you look at the death calendar for celebrities, there will sometimes be a couple of weeks or more between the deaths of real stars. I think that there will be a time, maybe this year, when a bunch of celebrities die in just a few days. How many? Five or six in a three day period - something like that. It will have more to do with the number of people who achieved fame and are now "at tha

In any setting, it's a myth that has a psychological genesis. The only way to look at it objectively is in retrospect, on a calendar. People say "3's" about celebrities, to be sure. But a calendar- retrospective shows absolutely no pattern! Take a look for yourself. http://www.dpsinfo.c...011.html#latest In the face of evidence to the contrary, the person who wants the truth -- to know the way that things really work - has to come to terms with the psychological dynamics behind why he or she has been perpetuating the myth. Many people can't look inward to discover their
