  1. I'll read all post tomorrow ... to many words right now But the weirdest flight I was on involves a flight out of Atlanta to Dallas and a very famous QB who lives there -- in the lounge, he was getting "free drinks" (lots of them), on board got more () -- big man, little woman, potential "smash" in the aisle on a 737/727 as he made his way to the rear bathrooms as 1st class was occupied, small women jumping out of the way / sitting on random lap to not be smooshed --- not fun memory and I still don't like QB legend who really is at least multiple sized compared and me (he was going to h
  2. Thank you! I can't this round due to timing, but this is on my list to start doing again this year
  3. .... RIP Steve. Thoughts to the kids & dogs (also mom & dad).
  4. CVS, RITEAID, etc ... all could do at reasonable price before, I'm sure they can do again.
  5. Dinner? DH had to go pick up something at Kroger, so while there he (apparently) decided he was going to have chicken salad club sandwich - brought home the chicken salad and buns. He didn't get enough for the big sandwiches we have (enough for only 1, plus a little left but not enough for 2 (and I won't tell him)), so he will be having that. I'm probably going to have left over pizza & salad, or soup -- haven't decided - and I'm really not hungry.
  6. contacts and information about leads are you best leads ..... hopefully it is a short "unemployment"!
  7. Good for you for trying something different ... and it was good!
  8. .... for me. Gave that up a while back as I just don't need the hoopla without the oomph. Too many things get in the way and is usually one of the "the anticipation" doesn't live up to the "wow" and just not what I wanted anyway .... Quiet day/evening, maybe a "good" dinner would work -- but not just not candy (don't need), flowers (don't need, prefer live plants), card (not needed) or going out (hassle for me/us - crowds). I'm the one who stopped this all, just "not into it" If it works for you, have lots of fun and enjoy and just FYI ... we had our first
  9. Sounds like the need continues and you have found another group which supports your directions .... may the road flatten to provide the help more easily Continuing good thoughts towards you and your support (and I'll work on cleaning some more areas of my "mess" for you )
  10. Easy, Fast & Good? I got those! Deli Section Donato Pizza, in that area, heat and eat. Thin crust and pretty good! Rotessarie Chickens are good - different flavors. I usually get a plain one and when done, pull meat off bones and save for quesadillas later (or pot pies or noodles/cheese/chicken or with rice or ???) Chicken Salad Club Sammies - chicken salad, provolone or muenster cheese (or your favorite), homel heat in the microwave bacon on onion buns or stuffed into pita pockets -- chicken tenders work good too! Reubens with fresh cut pastrami & swiss, melted on bakery
  11. Oh My .... I'm so so sorry. Sounds like she sent a "message" to you all ..... May Shannon rest in peace and may your memories help ease your heartache in the days and weeks to come. Thoughts to the family and friends tonight ..... peace.
  12. Oh Tara .... I'm so at a loss for words, but my thoughts go out to you and your family. What a wonderful memory was made in such a sad time for you all .... thank you so much for sharing. Although I don't want Shannon to get more scrambled eggs, may y'all get a chance for another "good" memory to be made (hope that made sense).
  13. DANG ... I love the library when I can get by there. If they don't have specifically what I'm looking for, I ask and request - but I usually can find something else to "occupy my mind" for material. I get a wide variety of selections for a wide variety of authors -- I want more I can explore. It is a "small county" library, good for what it is BTW - I can buy any book I want whenever I want, just don't want to waste trees and I usually don't need all of the extra clutter in my house with too many books I just want to read once. Those I want the ability to read again or use as referenc
  14. nay ... not stupid, just about the years past since it was so long ago, and I understand. I hope y'all have a GOOD reunion and the past can be just that. You just never know -- you all are really "starting over" after all of these years, lots to catch up on, new memories to be made.
  15. Although I'm not posting daily, I hope things are "good" for Shannon & you & your family. May the time you have be the best that you have, still in my thoughts .....
  16. Personally -- If I wouldn't remember why there was a big ADO, then I would have dropped it ...... but too late huh? Good luck with the reunion and I hope y'all can let bygones be gone and forgotten, look forward to finding out what you have missed and making new memories!
  17. Target has all kinds of them -- not sure what is in the store, but online there are lots (chrome & not red ) http://www.target.co...nk=target104545 (I just searched for drainer, not specifically to sinks )
  18. what's up? Not a lot .... Having Chili with noodles & cheese, plus corn muffins - ready in a bit. Leftovers later this week What did you have?
  19. Depending on how often you have used the "backup" remote, I'd still look into the battery. Some cars you must both remotes often to keep them in sync, and batteries do run down when not in use. good luck!
  20. Prestige .... they have always done a great job on the items I've needed fixing Reasonably priced and they stand by their work.
  21. Thanks for checking on those OPS people -- it was "bad" for a while and better now.
  22. that would so look good on you!
