Condolences and thoughts for you and your family -

My travels as boring as there were: Left dead-center paulding about 11ish. Headed up 61 towards the shelter & stopped at post office. Everything was a passable if you were cautious and paying attention (and most were). Took way longer than normal, but I thought that was going to happen. Left the shelter about 2ish and went to the 61/278 Kroger and home again - roads were mostly just wet, side streets still had a few issues which you needed to watch but it was good. Not leaving the house tomorrow if it can be avoided.

Thinking good thoughts for LR DH .... Hey kel! I'm ok, how are you? Lab work has been a little slow lately, might be able to get in there this weekend especially if I'm "stuck" in the house. What's new? HEY LPPT -- be careful out there.

I understand, but I ain't moving. I'll think about it tomorrow morning, maybe even Sunday is tomorrow isn't possible/safe .... I'll be nuts by next Thursday (my next day to be on the road mandatory day) if I can't move by then.

Mid Paulding County / just about dead center: on rails of the deck or other items which don't need as much "chilling down" we might have 3+, everything else is under 3 with slumping/melting/delayed build up. driveway finally has something on it, showing an overall "slight" covering.

I understand the position you are in and the safety of your family as well as the other workers. My thoughts go out to those who depend on you tonight, may they have enough (please don't take me wrong, I don't mean it wrong but in a positive message)

We filled up the feeders this morning. OH MY GOSH, the birds are eating it like they've never eaten before (or it appears that way). I'll send you good thoughts .... you'll need them! and as someone said -- as long as the electricity stays on .... we should be good I made sure the essentials were all stocked earlier this week (beer, wine, smokes, bread, canned items, etc ...), so we are . Now if the weather clears and roads are open (passable) tomorrow, I may need to run in and get a few items like fruit and more fresh veggies - but I can always wait until Sunday or Monday if -
oh my .... I just saw this. safe travels and best wishes to Steve & Nemie on their new adventure!

glad to hear you & DH are both home .... recovery is so much better in your own home! continuing good thoughts for a speedy & complete recovery

I don't care really who you use -- but you just need to make sure of coverage exactly to the letter every company offers and the cost -- some use replacement, some use diminished replacement, some use the deductable minus cost, etc .... one word in the coverage can "kill" you if it is needed (and hopefully not). good luck.

Tell SF the quotes you are getting and make sure it is "apples-to-apples" insurance being presented to you -- you would be surprised (or not) that you will get a quote and "OOOPPPPSSS we didn't include that" if you aren't thorough in the review of items covered. Also check into discounts -- ask them all -- the discounts are available for being a "good customer", having multiple types of insurance (like house, car, boat, etc...) by the same company, payment history, etc ....

Sorry to hear MarkDavid .. BTDT twice in the past, hoping not to see it in the future :::knockingonwood::: Get your resume updated and post on computerjobs.com (there is an ATL portion of this site, just can't think of the "real name" right now) and monster.com -- look at dice, hotjobs, etc .... plus every local company you can think of find their career page (like georgia pacific, ups, at&t, equifax, S1, southern, etc ...) to look up the jobs they haven't posted outside yet. Don't forget to check major contract firms like matrix, CDG, Accenture, IBM, etc .... they will have postings
