Called the number and didn't know my party's extension.......don't have time to play phone tag today. Do you have a name or extension number we can contact? Thanks!

What a beautiful idea! I agree--we need to learn to be a little more patient with each other--we really don't know the hurts behind the actions of some. The roast sounds like such a special, healing event. I hope you can share the experience with us.

As one who has had a UTI, I can only imagine the pain & suffering this poor kid endured.....unbelievable.. -
Tara, when I saw Shannon's picture you put on here yesterday, I was so struck by her beauty. I put that picture as my avatar in remembrance of her. Do you have a memorial planned? God bless, sweetie

Sounds like fun! Alas, I have no zebra shirts but I could donate some honkin' big cleats if you need them....... ya'll have fun!

I also highly recommend Dr Penney. He is a "no frills" kind of doctor. He doesn't push xrays and other add ons...and he doesn't insist that you come in every other day. Very easy going and ...I actually really do need to take a few minutes and pay him a visit. My "pre-income tax returns" visit.

I am sitting here in between tax returns, crying with you Tara. I still remember the first time we met. You share the same name as my daughter who was killed in 2005. You said you felt a connection--I feel it too--thanks to your open heart and willingness to share your pain, fear, faith and heart with so many here. We are with you in our hearts.

I finally beat you to one. That's what happens when you stay up all night with the grandbabies.

You can not get the earned income credit if you are married and file seperately. In fact, there are a number of deductions/credits that are not allowed for MFS. That is why most of the time, MFJ is most beneficial. However, there are some cases where it is beneficial. One of the more common is when one spouse has large medical expenses and small income.....and the other spouse has more income. But, even then, if you are giving up education credits or other credits, it is better to file joint. The absolute most common reason for filing seperate is not to get more of a refund----it is to a

Also an acquired taste. My son shot a deer a few months ago. It is in the freezer, but I just didn't grow up cooking it and can't get used to the taste......so most of it turns into jerky.

I haven't paid much attention to the grass/corn issue. I do buy antibiotic-free, growth hormone-free, steroid-free beef. Publix has the "greenwise" that is supposed to be free of all these products. I can tell a difference......in the SMELL. The cheapest hamburger that probably has all the antibiotics & growth hormones stunk! The greenwise smells like it should. I am interested in buying local and getting, like a side of beef, but just haven't known where to go. AND, I keep forgetting to ask....and just so busy during the day that I forget to call, but the West Metro meats....are th

Went to Bumblee Bakery's website.....looked at every delicious page BUT can't find days/hours they are open! I was probably blinded by all the pictures of the goodies, but I really tried to pay attention. Someone please tell me if they are open today or tomorrow. It is out of my way to drive down there, so don't want to go if they are closed. Thanks!

I would agree with the story. I have loved almost everything about getting older. I love not having to take care of the kids (okay except for the $$$ part--college age). I love having more time for myself. I love my husband more than ever and enjoy our spur of the moment dates --no babysitter needed! I am actually looking forward to being the eccentric old lady because when you get to a certain point, you can get away with saying anything! Everyone thinks, "well that's just that crazy old lady...." -
Hey there!!! You still do deliveries???? I'm still thinking about them honey cakes!
-
Busy busy at my office getting tax returns going.........IF someone would bring me a big box of assorted goodies from Bumble Bee......I would pay you! But the mood I'm in, I'd probably eat them all and git stuck in my chair! I'm dreaming of honey cakes right now!

Dr Shirley and his whole staff are fabulous! So glad they are here with us! -
I have to think that they are getting responses from enough people that this method is productive. If it didn't work, they would stop. Which means, there are people whose greed makes them stupid.

Why are so many younger people dying lately?

Glad it's not just me. I thought the same thing this week. So very sad. I don't know the circumstances for most of them, so no way to find a common denominator, but I hurt for the families. -
HIJACK WARNING Hey girl! How you doing? Did you do the triathlon???? Sorry, I've been buried in my son's senior year of high school and just now remembered you training.

Okay. You tell me when you're ready!
