GO SAINTS! My baby girl (21 y/o) had her Saints jersey....and Saints jeans....and Saints earrings....Saints necklace.....Saints UMBRELLA! She made jambalaya for dinner! She has made jambalaya for dinner every game this season! She literally CRIED last night when they won.....it was pathetic! But since Brett took my Cowboys out of the playoffs last week, we will no longer be a house divided. It will be a Saints Super Bowl at the barbed wire house! Oh! and I also hate the overtime rules....but not really the coin toss. Somebody has to get the ball first....how do you propose to dec

Actually, I do think pregnancy has a little to do with the feet getting larger--kind of for the reason your doctor said. The body releases hormones during pregnancy that cause the ligaments & tendons to loosen-I suppose to make room for baby/childbirth. So the ligaments in the feet get a dose of this during pregnancy --plus the added weight---and voila!--flatter feet.

You oughta move here from out there! I swear I was claustraphobic for six months with all the hills & trees and curvy roads! -
Hugs & prayers for the Largin & Roberts families.

You know, I see a lot of venting on here that I just have to stay out of because people just seem to be overly sensitive and not at all objective....BUT this is outrageous! There is already a law that requires that financial institutions report deposits over $10000 to the government. This is absolutely none of their business! BIG BROTHER is everwhere...and I'm afraid it's gonna get worse if we sit by and continue to let our rights be taken away. At least I will be ready with an answer if my bank starts getting nosy---"it's for the boob job, of course!"

We tried it last week and did like it. I am one of those who thought the old recipe was plain and the crust was cardboard, so this is a great improvement. Much closer to the Papa John taste than before.

I probably shouldn't post this because I can't remember where I read it, but I did read that there is some solid evidence of sunburns causing some forms of skin cancer BUT there was not any compelling evidence that it causes melanoma--the most deadly form of skin cancer. Sure wish we could trust all these studies but you almost always have to follow the money anymore and question motives. Also in agreement with an earlier post--the sun has been around forever. Sure would like to know the truth about the links between all the chemicals we now have in our food, shampoos, sunscreens, medi

I lost my 23 year old daughter four years ago. Sayings like that (only the good die young) only upset me even though I know people meant well and didn't always know what to say. I can tell you only this--I have learned to let my God carry me. HE knows my anger, my hurt, my lack of understanding better than I know it. HE is much more patient with me than I am with myself. "For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known." I have not lost my faith, but it is different--it more more genuine and g -
What is this? True confessions? Several times per day! I carry it in my purse......in my glove compartment....in my desk! Which reminds me...I need to add floss to the Armageddon survival kit--probably won't be able to get any if society as we know it ceases to exist.

Actually, my experience with public high schools (my youngest will graduate this year) is this: IF they take the Honors & AP cleasses, they will do fine in college and be very well prepared. Unforturnately, with the system we have in place and all the demands on the teachers of the "regular" classes, it is next to impossible for the teachers to provide what is needed. Encourage your kids to take the most advanced classes they are capable of --and mine were always concerned "it would be too hard", but they did great. My daughter is 21 and graduating from UGA this spring...and will

I learned this lesson a long time ago. The cheapest foods are like the cheapest human food--mostly filler, little nutrition. Your dogs will eat so much less volume (and poop way less) with the better quality foods.
-
After much research, we put our dogs on Blue. You can buy it at Petsmart. It is definitely not the cheapest if you are looking at price per pound, but with the better dog foods, there is much less filler, which means your dogs eat far less. I have a 75 lb Lab who gets two cups per day and a 120 lb Mastiff who eats three to four cups per day. I use an actual 8 oz. measuring cup--not a large scoop.
