The age of the couple doesn't bother me near as much as the financial "manipulation" of your sister. No matter what her intentions, as I have told me teens, "if you want the benefits of adulthood, you need to accept the responsibilities of adulthood." And that means financial responsibilities. This boy--and that is what he is if he is willing to let your sister have this much control of his decisions--is not ready to be a husband. Some 19 year olds are...and have made it work, but this couple needs some serious counseling.

I absolutely hate stretch jeans.....always have, so I started buying jeans at the western wear stores. Wrangler makes several different cuts/styles that are 100% cotton--no spandex. I found some great boot cut Wranglers a few years ago and bought several pairs. I am still wearing them. There are other brands besides Wranglers that don't have spandex, but the Wranglers fit me best. Good luck!

HI millCreek.......so we all wake up late this morning. The boy's truck is having motor work done, so he's driving the spare car. ......except the spare car slings a belt off this morning. He walks in the house and says, "Which one of you don't need your car today?" bbaaahhaaaaa! With the "event" tonight, we both will be running all over the place with last minute stuff. I said, "Son, this is how the rest of the world lives. THEY DON'T HAVE SPARE CARS!" "You will be "wheeless" for a day or two." Anyways, he gets a ride and dh leaves late and I'm still getting my game plan on (

You're not alone LPPT. I have wrapped presents to myself, put them under the tree and had everyone looking at each other baffled wondering where the stuff came from Just open it up Christmas morning, hug that robe and say "Just what I always wanted!

Little Drummer Boy as sung and played by Steve Veale at WestRidge. I sure hope he does it this year. He usually does for the Christmas services. The drum solo sends chills down my spine.

Oh yeah, it is a Chi. Says Chi in the little black circle on it. It was a special "green" series or something--and it was $115. Bought it at ......dang can't remember the name--that big store on Barrett Parkway--makeup-hair stuff--perfume--next to Target & Old Navy. And I could take a pic and spend 30 minutes trying to mess with it--but don't have time today. It's brand new, no box, $40. I will take it to my office today. If someone wants it, you can come by and look at it. I'll be back at the offie by 10:30 110 Evans Mill Dr Suite 605 Dallas (in the business condos across fr

I actually have one I bought last summer and don't like--just never bothered to take it back to the store (I guess I have weird hair). Anyway, I don't have the box and it has an ocean scene or something like that on it. $40

My grandmother & mother-in-law both bragged all the time about my annual gift to them--a roll of 100 stamps. It would just about last all year and they were both on fixed incomes. They loved getting something practical. You can always throw in a box of all occasion cards and a picture of your child.

Usually, smaller items I take to my office. That way the buyer can come up there anytime during the day and I don't have to wait on them --like n a parking lot. Larger items I have had people come to my home---or had my son deliver. BUT the things at my home have been outside items. I have not let anyone into my home. I would not do that with a complete stranger. There are people on here that I have met and people I feel like I know because we have been on here for years together. If Lady Raider wanted to buy something from me, I would let her in my home---as long as she promises not

I can't answer the specifics for Paulding County in 2009, but most school districts have a required number of credits for graduation--and a required number of credits in each subject. There is a built in buffer--if you pass everything from 9th grade on....and take all the required classes, most kids could earn enough credits to graduate by the end of the first semester of the senior year. I did it "back in the day". And for me, it wasn't tied to athletics.
