State regulates that price the Department of public health, state department of vital records. Last July they went up to 25 dollars for the first copy and 5 dollars for each additional copy.

There is one that my dad went to right beside cobb hospital on Hospital Drive. I can't remember the name of it though it is a wellstar doctors office, not the large building but the one in front of it the one level building.

I know it was in the busted paper his mug shot I guess you just don't read those. Not everyone takes others business and plaster it across billboards, I guess someone just didn't pick up on it and make a big deal about it till now!! It is one thing to be charged and another to be guilty, wait till it goes to court and he is found guilty to start throwing mud!!

Those are called Nova's or plastic vaults they were the thing in the mid 90's and a lot of cemetery's went to using them. They are a vault and not meant for more than one casket. There is a flat bottom to them and then the dome top goes over the casket and it comes with some metal clips to secure it. So the way the guy was lying down in it is wrong that is the top, that was the big push for these things was they were easy to store and didn't take up as much space as a concrete vault. But as we started to use them we discovered that in winter months they would become very fragile due to the col

Olive Garden and Red Lobster are owned by the same company and they decided on a Olive Garden. It is going across Greenfield Road from the shell station. They are clearing that corner off so not directly in the existing parking lot of Jim and Nicks but actually more towards the intersection of Greenfield and 278. -
My kids play soccer and baseball at Villa Rica. You can go to their website and see what is still open. They are a whole lot cheaper then any paulding county program. My oldest son has played soccer there for several years and we pay $65 dollars and that includes his his uniform and we don't have to work any concessions. My middle child plays baseball he is six and we pay $50 dollars and that includes his uniform, and my little girl who is 4 is playing tot shots which is her age soccer and it is $35 including the uniform.

We started our son in Soccer at four in Villa Rica and does not cost a lot of money over there. I know we just signed my daughter up over there for tot shoots and it was $35 dollars for the season and that includes the uniforms. Soccer keeps them busy and teaches them some great skills.

Well I have kids and this is like the whole cell phone craze with kids, I think it is a load of crap. No way no how will I ever hand my kids something that cost that much money. I can't afford it for myself, why would you put a already budget crunching state into this money pit. Look how kids treat their books and think of how they would treat them and how much it would cost just to fix or replace one every day or two from them not taking care of them. I think this kind of crazy spending styles is what has gotten this country into the financial mess we are in, have they not opened their eyes

You folks amaze me!!! No I am simply me I am not connected in any way to any ambulance service nor will I ever be!!! I am simply a tax payer here in this county. I have said nothing on this post that I have not said to Sam's face. This is not nor never will be againest Sam himself, it is againest a business practice that I feel is wrong. I hate that the business is having a hard time, and wish the employees all well. I know several of them very well and would hate to see the business close, but no business can operate in the red. I have said it and will continue to say it the county needs to s

I didn't say Mr. Clark started this post. But I was there when he meet at his funeral home with Hal Echols and Larry Ragsdale and Don Powell and complained about not being able to pay his bills. That was in April 1999. See that is the thing some people don't care to just hand money out to someone because "he is a good man". Wait I know a lot of "Good Men" who run business's and would love a piece of the pie here. Why don't the county bid the job out. I have no problem with hiring out side contractors but the county never ever bidded this out. They just awarded this to him who by the way was a

You people never fail to amaze me!!! Grip and Grip about your taxes and whine grip more, But I can't understand why we pay a private business with tax dollars!! I see many adds on here from other funeral homes who have to bite the bullet many times on funeral cost and I don't hear them belly aching. Why because most business minded people no matter what business you are no that there is going to be losses. But oh well I forgot it is good ol Sammy we are talking about here, he is good as gold and chum as chum can be. Can turn on tears at the drop of a hat, you people are as crooked as he is if

The man on 92 is Douglas Griffin, and the old cemetery on monroe cole if you turn up into the subdivision and turn the first street to the left it is on your left by a house. There is a Wooden Fence up now with a gate you can open it and go in. We use to all go to Liberty Bridge on Saturday night that is on Hulsey Town road or Friendship Church on Braswell Mt. Road that place is creepy at night. Frog giggin at Goldmine lake many many times since I grew up beside it. Ate many a frog legs from there.

No I am not a donor. Number 1 I am a funeral director and I have seen to many times familys waiting long amounts of time to get their loved ones body's back from the harvesting, then to see them disappointed because they don't look like themselves. And you as the funeral director catch all the flak because the others are long gone, and no they don't close up there wounds they lose stitch and send um on. Then I get to spend about 8 hours putting it back together so a family can say there goodbyes. I don't care what you say everybody needs that closure in death and you can't get it with thi

County wants bonuses repaid after 16 years.........
noahsdad replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This was not something they just found. The employees and the county had an agreement 16 years ago that as the employees retired they would deduct the amount out of their retirement. There was like a beginning balance of 130,000 dollars, they have been paid back over 75,000 of it. They now want the remaining ones that owe the money to pay it back now rather then wait because they need the money back. So now the county needs their money back so either you pay it back or take two days off, better then no job at all! This was all due to a change in pay cycles, so instead of shorting them pay back -
I am very sorry to hear this, my mom and Audrey worked together at Paulding Hospital years ago, and I really thought a lot of her and Roy. I worked for Eberhart's Funeral Home when Denny passed away and that about crushed her then. And then when Roy passed she really was crushed. May God bless the rest of the family during these times.
