I never said I was againest the airport or the airshow, I don't know what you folks can't understand here!!! I simply asked one question!! I get land blasted like I totally went againest this thing!! One question that is it!!! So answer the question or move on!!!

I don't think anyone who ask a question is a nay sayer!! If I had of known that county school buses would be used in this I would have been raising the roof sooner!! Sorry when our kids get told "no we can't transport you to your softball game unless the team pays for the driver and the mileage" but then we can turn around and afford to use buses for this! I just want to make sure that the expense is returned to the county!! I know they had said that some of the proceeds was going to the tornado relief efforts but not all of it. Yes in these times we tend to nickel and dime things......sorry when we have to tighten our purse strings I expect them to do the same!! If this was a private company putting on this event and no county funds was used that would be one thing, but when the county has to put so much money into an event such as this. I would like to know where the money generated is going to be used and how. When Cobb county has the fairs and events their police and officials are paid by the sponser of the event it is not from the county! The Christmas parade and other events that was mentioned are free event

I am also very glad that Clarks started standing up for themselves and demanding to be paid!!! I can't understand why you can't understand when as a parent all I hear is why the buses can't operate cause of gas concerns and budgeting, then we can afford to run a bus line for a airshow!!! Sorry we can't operate the buses for our schools events such as athletic events to carry our students cause it cost too much in gas!! But we can operate them for this? I would like to know who covered all the overtime for the county employees that was there and all the new items dot purchased for this show? Like barrells and baracades and all the signage? With the county furloughing employees how we can purchase all these items with tax payer funds and not repay the departments.
