If you will call the probate court here in paulding all birth records are now on computer and they can pull it up for you. Their number is 770-443-7541 or you can go to cobb co vital records which is in the health department on county services parkway. The cost is $15.00 for the first and $5.00 for each additional copy purchased at the same time.

If you paid 15,000 dollars for a cremation casket that is crazy!!! I am a Funeral Director and the average funeral is around 8,000. That is not with no cremation casket. If you are smart you will look into preplanning because you will lock in at todays prices and you pay no more. No matter how long you live. Also the state regulates what you pay for death certificates not the countys. It went up January 1 to 15 first then 5 for additional. That is in every county in the state not only PC. Cremation will now run you around 1295.00 at any funeral home. Unless you go with a cremation society and

The plans was to go out the back of the airport with a roadway tie into 101 into villa rica they are extending mirror lake blvd across and tying in with 101 straightshot to I20. Also I remember before 278 was put through and cut Yorkville off, my grandparents home sit on the old 278 which is now Goldmine and the tractor trailors would rattle you out of the beds going from Rockmart into Dallas. Those were the days!!!!!

I love the sound of freedom to, let us remember all of us homeowners in Paulding County if I remember corretly used our FREEDOM and voted NO for this some years ago!!!!!!!!!!!! The powers to be didn't listen to the people in the vote and built this God aweful thing. If any of you have had your property destroyed by Blake Swafford and timber cut before it was paid for, not to say you had to pay property taxes on the property after they had damaged it step up and speak if not you don't know what you are talking about!!!!!!!! The airport would have been lovely and welcomed say if they had of pl

First I will say this my family owns alot of land that surrounds this jewel that has destroyed our creeks and our land. Second if you beleive that all this has cost us tax payers is Blake Swafford salary your wrong. I have seen and ran off my land employees from the water department that where over there grinding stumps on my land before the county bought the land. So I beleive the county has used alot more tax payer dollars over there then is being told. Then I don't know about everyone else but my parents live at the end of the runway and there is already helicopters coming in through the ni

No it is not a memorial to veterans we already have that. It is going to be a park that is going to be a trail head for the silver comet trail. They are going to extend the silver comet up south main street and connect there to bring business into downtown. For what? I do not know. But the federal gov. gave the money for it so there you go. Part of the stimulus money being used.

It is runnels, but they are not hiring anytime soon for the position. They are hoping to get a big contract and if they do they are going to need workers. My grandmother worked there for many years and my aunt still works there.

I was born in Parkway regional hospital in 1978. We lived in Yorkville in my great grand parents home place. My mom was a Thomason from burnt hickory where she grew up at. We have a bunch of land in Yorkville that my grandfather bought a long time ago and when I married I moved a whole 5 miles from home, and this is more than likely where I will die. I was the last sixth grade class at the original Yorkville elem. school, we had a whooping 13 kids in the class and a total of like 80 to 85 in the school. Loved it there!!! Now Yorkville has two elem. schools, unbelievable! We used to ride our bi

You should look at your bill most of it is for School Tax, I will say I have been here all my life my dad and granddad and great grandparents have been here. I was the last 6th grade class at Yorkville Elem. School and at that time we had maybe 6 or 7 Elem. schools, and no subdivisions in Yorkville. Now look at it and count the schools it is not from prior administrations that has caused this and don't get me wrong I am not fussing at all the ones who have moved here. Just simply saying this is all part of the growing pains of a small town growing very fast. Because I left Yorkville Elem. in 1

You can call Hulsey's Monument's they are located in Peaceful meadows cemetery which is behind Mt. Zion Baptist Church on 61 south just south of the paulding co high school. Bobby or Johnathan will be glad to help you. Tell them Jeremy with Benson Funeral Home told you to call them. Then welcome to my neck of the woods Yorkville, I was born and raised here on my great grandfather's farm. Still live here with the family but instead of a farm now at the end of our property we have a airport. You will find wallace's in downtown yorkville very good, and Scott's store has some very good biscuit's for you in the morning and a right good meal during the day. You will also find Phat Phils on Hwy 120 or buchanan hwy very good and close by as well. Hope you grow to enjoy this part of the world as well as I do Glad to have you join us.

Oh yes!! High interest rates, takes a longgggggggggggg time to pay back unless you will have a lot to pay each month toward. Because it is a month to month loan so the cheapest I have ever seen is like 9% a month interest. I swore I would never do it again because you get no where just making the small payments each month you have to pay lots each month to get it paid down.

First if there is a will, see who is listed as the administrator of the estate. If he died without a will then he died intestate which means without a will. If he was not married then it would be to the children. You will need to go to probate court and get paper work to petition to be the excecutor to the estate. If there is a will then who ever is named in the will would need to petition the court. All heirs will have to sign off on the petition for anyone to be appointed, that would be any wife, children mainly. Go ahead and get the paper work filled out by the heirs, if not married then yo

It's because they sponser the forum!! Which means they paid pcom to have it! But I don't see the problem, do we question when another car repair shop has a ad at the top of another thread dealing with another car repair shop or any other business. They are a business that can advertise? Right. Is it wrong for a funeral home to advertise? Thanks

You are correct, I always get the two mixed up on which owned which. My grandfather worked for the chevrolet delearship and then worked for Charles until last year and retired. Steve works with my daddy at the sheriffs office, I have known them all my life.
-
To correct this, Joe Jones, Steves daddy owned the chevrolet delearship where Grow mart is now. It was called Joe Jones Chevrolet, then Charles Hardy purchased it. Steve Jones works for the Paulding Co. Sheriffs office. and Ben is Steves son. Steve's uncle owned the big home next to the old post office in Dallas before selling it last year. The Jones family is the one's that gave the City of Atlanta all the land where the airport is going to be built. At one time the Jone's owned 90% of Paulding Co. and they still own quite a bit. just a little history
