The new Dollar General in New Hope is nice. Of course is it new and that could change. But so far, I have enjoyed shopping thee. It is sure handy when I don't want to drive to WalMart for something.

It is really amazing to me that shopping centers like this one are going up on their rent. Look around and see how many empty places there are in Paulding County. It is true that is a prime location, but I would think that a solvant company like Kroger would be desirable to remain an anchor for years to come. Go figure.

We are in New Hope off of Old Cartersville. We were watching our neighbors Christmas guests try to leave and they ended up wrecking into another car parked in the same driveway.

FYI, the restaurant at Red Top Mountain on Friday night as all you can eat seafood, which includes crab legs. And they are mighty good! And you don't have to wait forever for them to bring 'em out. I believe it is $19.95.

I picked up my sock monkey last week and I must say that I was very pleased. It was even cuter in person that that photos here. And the scarves are very nice, high quality. You would pay much more at a store.

Did you know that a Dollar General is going in right next door to where the Ace was? It is taking up all of the remaining spaces. So it should be a fairly good size. We were glad to see that something was going in so that would not leave an empty shopping center.

Oh hon, I know it's tough. You are in a boat with tons of people. I just believe wholeheartedly that Nathan Deal will be less of an evil than Barnes. Barnes lost the first time because he was such a failure. The judges he appointed and then his law firm tried cases in front of them after that is a big sticking point with me.
