  1. No, I did not attend that event. And I believe that the commission chairs could have also benefitted from a debate. I am not an Avery supporter. I just believe in a healthy debate and do not see why someone would not be willing to partake unless they have something to hide. Paulette is a well spoken woman, she should do well in a debate.
  2. I sell jeans for $5. I have many brands and sizes. We have been trying to open a resale store for the last year. But each time to move forward there has been a road block. (I believe it is God telling me to slow down.) Anyway, if you would like to look, give me a call. I am going to have a huge yard sale next weekend. 17th/18th 678-363-6766.
  3. I just heard on the news that he would go before a judge on Monday. Sad situation. But it could have been much sadder.
  4. Some of my republican friends will probably be mad at me for saying this.... but, here I go. As the former secretary of the Paulding County Women's Club and an active campaigner in the 08 Presidential campaign, I think a debate is healthy and normal course of a campaign. I've not been very active lately because of personal reasons, so I am not in the loop on a lot of things but. However, I am concerned at Mrs. Braddock's seeming unwillingness to debate. I would love to see a debate between Paulette and Will. I think it will be a great way for people to see what both candidates have to
  5. Tammy, my prayers for you and your daughter. Shane and Starr, if you guys are reading this, please come home. Whatever you imagine is made far worse by not coming home. I promise you that our officials in Paulding County are fair and just. They just want to bring you home safe. It will be okay. It may not feel like it now, but it will be. You are blessed kids to have people who care so much for you. Shane, Starrs mom has said that she will help you. That is a huge! God bless~
  6. Welcome to P.Com fellow realtor. You will love this site. It has been a huge blessing for my business.
  7. I'm so glad that I recorded this episode. I'll be watching it soon. Thanks for sharing your story, Anita. ~hugs!!
  8. What a shame you didn't enjoy it. We love true Cajun food. And are certainly glad to have a new business help our enconony here in Paulding County.
  9. We have this set to record so we never miss it. But we were watching it last night and were in tears. It is awesome to see a man who doesn't put dollars before people. And in the long run he will most certainly see more dollars because he put people first. I know that if I need those services I will certainly call Roto Rooter first because I know where heart of the company lays.
  10. That is a risk you run when selling a house, D. I had a client who completely packed her house and was ready to close on her new home. We had stayed in constant contact with buyers agent and the mortgage broker. But yet, at the last minute the buyers did something stupid and could not qualify for the home. (When out and bought a new car the week prior to closing.) Of course my seller got to keep the earnest money, but $500 was little compensation when it comes to not being able to complete the move. Thankfully we sold the house again in about 4 weeks and she was able to complete the transactio
  11. Incentives are almost standard these days. When talking with my listing clients I explain to them that we are trying to appeal to both of our customers: #1 the buyer & #2 the buyers agent. The buyer will have so much to select from you have to do something in today market to stand out. So using some sort of incentive is one of the best ways to do so. Bonuses could include something like "Free Home Owner Warranty", "All Closing Costs Paid", "Free Refrigerator and Washer Dryer with purchase", "$3000 Pd toward closing". Those are typical bonuses. If she has agents trying to get her to d
  12. So sorry.~ I'm sure great things are in store for you. ~hugs~
  13. Okay, so me and the hubster went and tried this place for lunch today. (Located on W. Memorial where City Cafe used to be.) It was really good. Geniune cajun food. Owned by a husband and wife team. The husband is from Louisana. And the boy can cook. We had the daily special, can't remember what it was called but it was a sort of chicken stew served over a bed of rice. Yummy~ Then we ordered a bowl of seafood bisque. After adding salt and pepper it was perfect to me. We also ordered a crawfish pie. This is sort of like a fried apple pie only with crawfish tails and other creamy goo
  14. Formerly the "City Cafe" if I am not mistaken. We saw it the other day.
  15. Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think about you so often! ~hugs
  16. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I AM COMPLETELY LOST.~>>>>>?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  17. Wow. *I deleted what I really wanted to say.*
  18. Wow. You are right. There should be something that would prohibit a person doing the same thing over and over. Thanks for posting this.
  19. As a mother of a son who has decided to serve... my heart aches. As a friend to those who know this son, brother, neighbor, friend... my heart sincerely aches. Dogwood & neighbors, please know I am praying for you and those who surrounded you.
  20. Cindy, I have the privilege of showing homes tomorrow!! YAY ME!! However, I have quite a few mini pom poms. They are supposed to light up. But I'm not sure if the batteries are still good. But they are all new and I think the kids would love them. If you will give me a call we can set something up so you can get them. (If you will notice it is after midnight now and I know that I won't remember later to call you.) Lacey.... I cracked up at your Matthew story. I'd love to see that video.
  21. I don't have anything to share about Trinity School. But I do know how expensive school uniforms can be. Trinity has a wonderful thrift store in Powder Springs. My husband and I were in there one day last week and saw several school uniforms which were in excellent condition and very inexpensive. I know if I were sending a child there I'd shop there for the uniforms.
  22. Okay, since you are going to be going to OKC... and to the memorial, let me give you a couple of suggestions on where to eat. You will be very near Bricktown. This is an old warehouse district that the city has made into a little San Antonio. It is great with a lot of really nice places to eat. The Mexican food in OKC and Texas is totally different. Eat some for me! And get a REAL sophipia and bring me back a dozen! They don't have a clue here what a real one is like. Toby Keith's restaurant is in Bricktown. It is awesome! And for a taste of true OKC try Cattlemen's Cafe. It is in
