  1. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44243644?SThisFB I report, you decide.................
  2. We'll see. I have a lot of studying to do before Nov. Not crazy about re the R's running either. Wouldn't it be nice to be excited about a candidate as opposed to holding your nose and settling?
  3. I don't agree with that action at all, but the removal of Confederate flags representing/paid for by all taxpayers are different (think Nikki Haley and the Confederate Flag over their state house). People can choose to go to Stone Mountain or not. We never go anymore because of traffic, distance and.........we're old.
  4. Thanks, and I respect that. For a black female in GA running for Gov. is just a huge wow!
  5. I have to say, and I'll get bashed..........congrats to Stacey Abrams. Her win is historic.
  6. Not at all. At that age, unless they follow politics, it's a pretty boring process. Give them time.
  7. Very proud of him! And Jennifer Hudson placed 7th, and look where she is now.
  8. OK, I'm old. Never heard of Night Ranger. ARS is free? Are any of the original members going to be there? I remember ARS back in the late 70's on the radio and I was young.
  9. I wish him the best of luck and also hoping there'll be a huge crowd for this special night for him. This whole experience will be one of those life memories he'll never forget. I won't be there this evening, actually didn't realize that American Idol was still on. I'll have to start watching for the finales.
  10. Obvious question......where is his her husband? Sorry. My bad.
  11. There, now the thread is back on topic.
  12. What was the original topic of this thread again?
  13. Well dang. My husband is a big fan of archery and 4-H. We'd be there if we didn't have other commitments.
  14. Just stop! Quit all the tit for tat crap! Melania showed up for Barbara Bush's funeral, and I'm guessing she felt uncomfortable, and the former President took her hand and had her sit next to him. It was a beautiful service. Play nice children.
  15. I was so impressed by all the family members who spoke. And I actually felt bad for Melania, but was so proud of the person who took her hand and sat next to her.....President Obama.
  16. I would have thought that Daddy Bush would go first. I'm guessing he'll be going to join her soon. What a great love story. I has a huge sad.
  17. She was 92 so not unexpected but I found myself crying.
  18. She absolutely could have ignored those women, no doubt, but I think she taught a valuable social lesson.
