Between the house and the business we will be paying the County nearly $10,000.00. $700.00 sounds pretty good right now. I know it's a lot of $ no matter what way you look at it and how much it is. If you pay more, do you have a right to hollar louder?? They need to come fix our gravel road before it completely washes away. LOL J/K Oh yea, since the business is also in the Dallas City limits, we get to pay those taxes as well.

Thanks everyone. I'm leaving for a week tomorrow, I know Mom and Dad will take very good care of him. But I feel bad leaving him. At least his Grandpa and Uncle will still be here if they need help.

This is Ctygrl's son. Spent all afternoon at doctor's offices. He was outside running at school, some feet got in the way and he said he went at least 35 feet in the air He's in a good bit of pain, not much they can do but put the arm in a sling. Gotta go back in 10 days to get a brace for him to wear. He's a trooper, but he was hurting pretty bad when we got there to get him. Dr. Goolsby's office was wonderful, had us in and out and an appointment with the Orthopedic by 4 this afternoon. He's loving the attention......it's going to be very hard to keep a 7 year old boy cal

You do realize, a few invitations, a couple of games, some cake and ice cream and the kids will have a blast. That's how I spent most of my birthdays, seemed to work for me.....I continue to have them. (thank you Lord)

Thanks MillCreek, the do like to come out during disasters. Be careful everyone and check references. It's almost better to use Uncle Joes, sisters husbands next door neighbor than someone no one knows.

Praying for your family and especially for your grandson. It's so scary when their fever spikes like that, and not being able to breathe well on top of it is horrible. Hang in there Mom, your son sounds like he had some good raising.

I will be camping from Tuesday night til Sunday. That's what I'd call perfect camping weather.

EJ, I wasn't talking about the trail in the woods when I said we have occasionally strayed off the trail. I agree he should not have been where he was, he knew better. He should pay a fine, but why is his more than everyone else's?? So I guess you've never made an error because you used poor judgement?? Oh yea, if you're ever in a situation where you might need some help, don't you think an Eagle Scout would be a good person to be around??

All of us one time of another stray off the marked trail, does that make all of us dumb?? Not using good judgement doesn't necessarily make one dumb. Poor judgement I can agree with but not dumb.
