Is the building where Dallas Dance is now on Business 6 an old hospital?? I heard it once was.

They tore the building down about 10 years ago, may be a little longer. It sat on the Southwest side of the street from the Dallas New Era. Wasn't a very big building, I was kinda sad to see it go.

Weren't there some hangings in the court house square?? I thought Bartlett's ghost walked the halls of the Bartlett Hutchens house over by the old Post Office. When the Chamber owned that house, there were many reports of noises and odd occurences. I didn't experience them personally but heard lots of stories. I think Pubby's ghost is someone else besides Bartlett. Need to go to the museum and search the history of that building. The old cemetary in Van Wert is probably the best I have seen in a long time. Grandkids are the best!! I love my grandkids and when they start acting out (when I have spoiled the heck out of them), I just turn them over to mom and dad.

I have absolutely no respect for the Polk County police department. Without going into detail I'm glad they got caught. They deserve everything they get. And no, I never received a ticket there, never got in trouble. Let's just say they aren't very good at their jobs, especially when someone needs help.

Oh yea, we also have an Indian that constantly walks our property. Nothing happens inside but outside sometimes you can feel the presence, not scary you just know he's there. I believe this property was once some very rich hunting land, used for years to provide food for many families. There is something buried here, not sure what but I know one day we'll find it.

I have many, growing up in Chicago near where Al Capone lived makes for some scary stories. I've always had this 6th sense, kinda scary.
