I like roasting PEEPS over a campfire in addition to regular marshmallows. The exterior sugar crystal coating caramelizes and makes for a very delicious treat. I enjoyed roasting peppermint flavored stars and chocolate mousse favored reindeer this past weekend.

To help with the visual, here's a photo that I saw on Facebook today (not connected with this incident) LOL. Most likely, the FedEx truck had already pulled off the road due to getting a flat tire before the police arrived.

I'm a HUGE supporter of law enforcement but this irks me
November Rain replied to dlls1415's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I understand how you can feel irked based on your perception and didn't feel the need to tell you to mind your own business until I read this post. Why do you assume that all of the officers that you see at Chick-fil-A are not paying for their food? Just because you see them there frequently when you eat there frequently as well? Also, are you implying that an officer may not, for example, ticket the employee who served the free food when they are pulled over for speeding? If that's the case, I need to start serving lunch! -
From what I found from a Google search, if the officer did not have probable cause to stop the driver, it is considered an unlawful stop. Speeding sounds like probable cause to me... Be sure to read & review ANY document before signing it.

Man selling something from a cooler Pine Valley @ 92?
November Rain replied to footballbeerchic's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So this guy stands on the corner of the church property and tries to make sales during red lights? Perhaps he could pick up some tricks from the guy is this video and combine street vending with street performing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYsT5TiJsIU -
I don't even know where Chicken World is but I do have some questions. How will the winner be chosen? Do comments in addition to names have any affect on the chance of winning? Will only one winner be chosen from the Facebook posts and the P'com posts or one winner from each website? Does "4 Free Meals for your family" mean four free (combo?) meals or the winner's family will be given a meal four times?

I couldn't do a timeshare because I don't want to have to make plans far in advance. I travel frequently and prefer making plans for less than a month away, whenever I want, for wherever I want to go at much cheaper prices. Timeshare resorts are nice but I'd have to seriously increase my vacation budget for the expense and annual fees. After going through a Wyndham presentation a few years ago, I got their intro plan which got me one year of points. I finally had to book something just before the points expired just so that I wouldn't lose everything. Nope, timeshares just won't work for me.

Sorry, I don't know about Google Cloud Print but I'd like to see if I can help you use the printer over the network. You said a router won't work with the printer, but that's not relevant. You don't need to connect the printer to the router, just be able to share the printer over your wireless network. However, I am confused about whether or not your printer is connected to a computer at all. My printer is connected to my desktop computer, which is operating on Windows XP. I click Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes to pop up a window with the list of available printers. I right-cl

I purchased a 1988 Buick Regal in late 1998 and drove it for a few months before using it to relocate a fire hydrant.

Sounds like the gear grease is leaking. I recently noticed black streaks in smoothies I had blended in my cheap blender when I poured the smoothie into a glass. It should be food-grade gear grease, so it shouldn't be a health risk (just a little gross.) http://www.ereplacementparts.com/blog/appliance-repair-tips-for-kitchenaid-mixers/

To be clear, the girl wasn't even shot. She was hit by a ricocheted fragment. The OP is the only one who said the girl was shot. I know the SWAT guys were pumped full of adrenaline, but for the highly-trained specialists to fire eight rounds and not hit a target is pitiful. However, it is a good thing that the innocent girl wasn't shot. Maybe she had a guardian angel.

Opera has been my primary browser for several years. It was the first browser to have tabbed browsing and several other features that were replicated in other browsers, such as tab stacking, mouse gestures, blocking pop-up windows and speed dial. One feature that I use frequently but haven't found in other browsers is the linked/follower tab, which allows me to click on a link in a tab and have the new page open in the follower tab. This is useful when going down a list of links and saves me from hitting the back button or having to open & close a new tab for each link. I use to browse P'c

Marietta Police Host Gun Safety Seminar The Marietta Police Department’s Training Unit will host a Firearm Safety Seminar on Thursday, November 8, 2012. This seminar is designed for civilians and will cover a variety of topics to include safety, laws, and alternative weapon usage. The seminar is free of charge. "This program has been developed to educate the citizens on current firearm laws and weapon safety. We want to equip citizens with the knowledge and skills so they feel confident owning and handling a firearm or weapon if they choose to do so" says Sergeant Jake King of the Mari

The fact that Nicki Minaj is a judge on American Idol shows that this TV show is a joke and just for entertainment. Mariah Carey's musical career is over 20 years old. She is one of the biggest-selling artists in music history and has proven herself with many honors and awards. Nicki Minaj entered the scene a few years ago but was mostly unheard of until last year. Her seventh single, "Super Bass", became one of the best-selling singles in the United States. Now she's a judge on AI? I don't give her credibility to be judging the skill of other performers.

Life flight and rescue vehicles in Powder Springs

Thanks for the link. I saw several firetrucks lining every street around the businesses by the bookstore but didn't see any smoke. The Book Worm is still open. I didn't know it had changed hands again but the Open sign was lit today with cars parked next to the store. -
Anybody know what's going on in downtown Powder Springs behind the bookstore? There are more fire trucks and other emergency response vehicles than I could count and life flight is in the park.

I ate at Breakfast Club years ago when I was staying across the street at Howard Johnson. I remember seeing a line out the door every morning and having to wait a little while to be seated in the small restaurant. Here are some reviews on Google Breakfast Club Sunrise Restaurant

You know how people from here meet up for lunch?
November Rain replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think it sounds like a good idea. I was able to put faces to names back in the day by going to lunches, Front Porch shows and trivia nights at BWW. A meet and greet picnic would be fun but will require a lot of organization and leadership. Just ignore the useless banter earlier in the thread from Cableman41 and converse. There's no need to seek out people from the past, just have a function for the current users where everyone is welcome. It would be a fun community event.
