  1. When you log in, make sure the box that says "Remember me" is checked. If it is and you're having this problem, I think it may be due to a privacy setting in your phone's browser for cookies.
  2. Surely you've heard the thrift shop song
  3. Trying to think of a commercial that I like but nothing comes to mind. When I saw that commercial, I knew that would be a memorial bit but nobody would remember what the commercial was for. Heck, I can't remember. I think those are the MOST annoying commercials. I have to hit mute or change the channel. I like the ending of the recent commercial where he says “Like my Mom said the day I was born: 'Wow, that's a lot more than I expected!' ”
  4. Wow, thanks for the info! I didn't know about at least half of the things. I never knew about the aluminum foil tabs, but the Kroger box doesn't say "press here". I don't think it's right to say we've been doing some of the things "wrong". Rather, I think it is merely useful to partially disassemble the item. I thought the same thing at first, but then wondered if the peanut butter would settle on the lid or stay up in the jar. I further wondered weather or not the oil would collect in the lid. I just went to the cupboard, stirred my jar of "no stir" PB, flipped it upside down and wil
  5. I have the Comcast/XFINITY Blast Plus Double Play. For $80, it includes Digital Economy TV (45+ channels) and Blast! Internet (Up to 50 Mbps download speeds). Certain other packages do have a two-year contract for new customers but not this one. New customers pay $50 first six months, $70 for months 7-12, then $80. I decided that I want Digital Starter TV (80+ channels) so I called Comcast earlier today to inquire about upgrading. I was able to get Starter XF Double Play that includes Digital Starter TV and Performance Internet (Up to 25 Mbps download speeds) at $80 for 12 months with an a
  6. Kansas and West Virginia Added by Attorney General Olens to List of States Entitled to Georgia’s Firearm Permit Reciprocity "The State of Kansas and the State of West Virginia have determined that they will honor Georgia firearms permits. Therefore, effective immediately, Georgia recognizes firearms permits issued by Kansas and West Virginia. With this revision, Georgia now reciprocates in recognizing firearms licenses with the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri,
  7. The total jackpot for August 10 was $751,887. Each of the three winners received $250,629. http://www.galottery.com/details/fantasy-five?date=2013-08-10 Congrats to the man. I would like to win around $200k so that I can pay off the upside-down mortgage on my house and be debt free.
  8. I was more offended by your response than the other person. I think they right on. The OP implies "negativity" by asking what happened.
  9. I don't hear a similarity between the two songs. Don't watch the "unrated" version video of Blurred Lines if you're easy offended.
  10. I don't know the figures but I'd guess about a dozen people work for Paulding animal control
  11. "Responsible people", eh? Clark Howard advises not to buy life insurance for children because life insurance is meant to replace your income (for the dependents) and most kids don't have an income.
  12. Humidity is high with the amount of rain we have received this summer. This is the first time in 9 years that mildew has grown in my basement. When I discovered it growing on various things around the basement, I decided to get a dehumidifier. When I plugged in it, the humidity level was 75%. I've been emptying the reservoir twice a day.
  13. You got the story wrong, lowrider. Nobody was killed over a pair of shoes. Someone attempted to rob the people who were waiting in line to buy the shoes. The thug wanted their money, not the shoes. Somebody who was just saved from being robbed at gunpoint. How would you feel if you were being robbed at gunpoint and a third person defended you?
  14. Welcome to P'com! I'm glad that you have become a business member on here and can advertise your restaurant! http://cubandelights.net Yup, me too! Well, I don't always get the same thing, but I've eaten the media noche and fried plantains most frequently. I've also washed it down with the Guanabana milkshake the last few times. If I lived close, I'd try everything.
  15. My Netflix queue was down to two, so I pulled up this thread for some movie recommendations and picked a few to add to my queue. Thanks!
  16. It appears so https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dallas-Billiards/170799929608832
  17. Heh, if they're in the jewelry case, I'm guessing they're collectible and/or likely will cost more than what icare is looking for just to cut up for a banner. I found this webpage that should help you find a store. THE MASTER LIST of comic book stores & trading card stores in Georgia USA
  18. The only three places I can think of with billiards that are still open AFAIK are Hiram Station; Phoenix Bar and Grill; and Dallas Billiards.
  19. I asked one of the office ladies if she knew anything about a dog attack yesterday. She wasn't aware of any incidents but did say that animal control was there today and picked up two dogs.
  20. Hmm, seems disrespectful to the victim to bury the guy with her but then it also sounds like sweet justice. However, I don't know how they do things in Bolivia, but I'm guessing the police would have had the guy in their custody if they had enough reasonable cause to arrest him for the crime.
  21. I learned a little about trail trees from a geocache in Buchanan. GC13R0J Trail Tree
  22. I don't think I've ever used this, but have it bookmarked: Resize Images Online http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ I normally use Irfanview - Thumbnails batch processing http://www.irfanview.com
  23. I used a Groupon discount for Peachy Parking the other week and paid $34 for six days of indoor parking (the current offer is $41.) I pulled up, was directed where to park and a shuttle instantly came to my parking spot. Upon return, a shuttle took me back to my car. The shuttles are constantly driving through and the employees use two-way radio to tell the drivers where the customers are parking. I'm sure that anybody walking around would stand out and be noticed. I felt it was a safe and secure place to park.
