  1. My daughter will be in the parade with the Girl Scouts. And lots of friends will be riding their horses
  2. I believe you can go to www.paulding.gov and get info on the Christmas Parade. Most of the time info is released in October. The parade is always the first Saturday in December.
  3. The company I work for will be moving to a new building soon. We have lots of old computers that we don't want to have to move with us. And we don't just want to throw them in the dumpster.
  4. There used to be someone on here that offered computer recycling. Does anyone know if they're still around? And if so, do you have their information? Thanks in advance!
  5. Basehor-Linwood High School, Basehor, Kansas / Class of 1991. My hubby is Crete High School, Crete, Nebraska / Class of 1983
  6. Love the freshness and flavor of Sal's! Everything I've ever eaten there is delicious! Johnny's is probably my next favorite. However; Stevie B's has wonderful BLT pizza and their supreme is pretty dang good too!
  7. This is the one I use also. Very EASY to make and very tastey!
  8. www.pinterest.com tons of ideas on there
  9. There's a lot of things the bride and her wedding party and or family/friends can do to keep cost down. For her bouquets, just use a single flower with some baby's breath and pretty ribbon tied around. To decorate, again, use single flower accents, with ribbon. You can also use white/clear lights like what you'd put on a Christmas tree. Depending on when she's planning the wedding......White Oak Park makes for a beautiful setting for a wedding, then move the reception to their enclosed pavillion. As far as a caterer, my suggestions would depend on the number of guests. If you
  10. Douglasville has a parade at 10:00 am on the 4th. Goes down Church Street. Then there's a festival at Hunter Park that starts at 11:00 am.
  11. I was driving through about the time everyone was arriving on the scene. Around 5 pm. When I came back through, they were talking to a civilian in the driveway next to the burnt house. Then the civilian turned around and went jogging down the long driveway. I was wondering if maybe he was the one to report it or if they were just interviewing everyone around the area.
  12. So sweet of you! I would suggest you post an ad at the Paulding Senior Center.
  13. Summer Session activities through Parks & Rec are super cheap! Just signed my daughter, husband, and myself up to participate together for the Karate Class. $25 for the first person, then just $6 for each additional family member. Sweet Water Creek Park is also an adventurous place to visit too. Paddle boats, hiking, and lots of nature to explore.
  14. BB's Sports Bar & Grill on Ridge Road has friendly service and good food. Not sure about the talent.
  15. We stopped in last night to check it out. Not impressed with their prices. I did find a couple of things that were slightly below sale prices at Kroger or Publix. And I even had a coupon! But wait!!!! They don't except internet coupons! Nope, I won't be back. Or unless I'm passing by and need milk or something. And their "cost" thing has got to be after all of their other expenses are paid out, because a tiny watermelon for $4.98 plus the 10% is not a good deal.
  16. If I invite, then I plan to pay. If the parent sends money, then great! If my child is invited somewhere, I offer to send money. I've had it go both ways, it's been accepted, and it's been refused. If I know a friend will be invited along with us, then I try to limit the "extras" and stay within a budget. You could also plan ahead and pack a cooler with snacks & drinks. Most jumpy places offer re-entry, Stars & Strikes offer re-entry....you could always go to the car for a snack and return to the activity.
  17. Fantasia RUINED Josh's performance! I couldn't stand to stay in the room while she was screaming. And what is up with all the unitards/bodysuits tonight. Sorry.....they DO NOT flatter the rolls & curves.
  18. We stopped in to see what bargins we could find. Got a 30 count of Allegra for 50% off. AWESOME DEAL! I will agree though....other than candy & gum.....most of the stock is the high-end brands and organic brands. If you like or need candy, they have the snack size candy bars 50% off and then use the coupon that was in today's paper for $1.00 off (2). It would make them around $1.50 per bag. And yes, they're still accepting coupons. Just not W.I.C.
  19. Evan's is AWESOME! Very friendly drive up service too! Iron Horse is back open. They're good too, but I think Evan's has won me over. Of course when Gilly owned it, it was great too!
  20. I went to Rite Aid today on Ridge Road. As I approach the counter to pay, the guy asks how I'm doing? I said good. He says "That's great, I was hoping you would come by today!" I just had to smile, he was so cute about how he said it, and it came out so natural from him. I have seen him in there before, but I'm sure he was just doing a great job on his customer service!
  21. I have sent you a PM. I have had an over whelming response from the saddle club facebook page and the mass email I have sent out. Best of luck to you! I know these horses have been special to you and this can't be easy.
