Send me detailed information about the horses, and I will gladly send out a mass email to the saddle club. So sorry hear that things aren't well. Sending you prayers and hugs! ---Sonja

Thanks. I was just curious. Sad to see one store go, but always good to see that the space is being re-used instead of turning into a run-down/abanded business area.

What is being built in the old Kroger spot next to K-Mart? I knew Kroger had closed and was demolished. Now I see a new front going up, but couldn't tell what's going in.

Just get there when it starts and get done early! Otherwise it's a total zoo! -
Ryan's will let you use their back room for free if you eat there. The Chamber of Commerce has a nice meeting room and also the Community Center located near the jail.

My mom may be interested. What day/time are you needing this done?

Bethal Methodist Church is having their annual fall festival. I've been a couple of times, and they do a great job. Games for the kids, BBQ plates, crafts, bake sale items.

I noticed that on Friday while I was listening from work. I like it! I didn't realize it was a format change though. Works for me.

If you enjoy the woods, then you will enjoy Boundary Waters in Douglasville. However; these trails are also shared with hikers and equestrians. The red trail is the hilliest and the longest. There is also Kennesaw Mountain.

Anyone familiar with team penning or equine drill teams?
Horsepower replied to CrownApp's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Drill team info can be found on the internet. As far as patterns. I used to ride with the saddle club drill team. It was tons of fun! As far as team penning.....check out Crazy P Arena in Cedartown. You can google it to find their info. If you need additional information on drill team....contact High Country Stables in Dallas. Shelly Phillips should be able to help you out. www.highcountrystables.com Her lesson kids & summer campers do a drill team every year. Hope this helps. -
I would start with realtor.com and get an idea of availability of houses in the area. Then you can always check with the Sheriff Dept. or Police Dept. and they can tell you if it's a good neighborhood or not. Don't always trust a realtor with their opinion of the neighborhood. Because it's illegal for them to mention their opinion if it's a safe area or not.

I posted a box of clothes about a week or so ago. My box was finally chosen this past Saturday. I'm still learning about the site and how it all works. Have not bought anything off of it yet. But I've heard good things about it from other people.

My daughter just had her ears pierced two weeks ago. She is 5 1/2. She has been asking for serveral months now. I wanted to have hers done when she was a baby but decided to wait until she could make her own decision. We went to Wal-Mart and have NOT had any problems. It's not the name of the store or salon that makes a difference. It's the individual who's doing the piercing along with the type of earrings you get. Some people have "metal allergies". This is generally what causes the ears to become infected.[/Good luck to you on your decision. I'm sure your little girl is an ange

My daughter's daycare charges $56 per week for JUST after school care. And that includes the daycare picking her up & taking her back to the daycare. So that breaks down to $11.20 per day. I would suggest you charge $8 to $10 per day. Depending on how far you have to drive.

YES! Ruff Daze Doggy Day Care in Douglasville is AWESOME! They are VERY reasonably priced. It's a family owned business. They owner lives in Paulding County and uses a Paulding County vet on his own dogs. My dog stayed there a week. The owner said my dog really didn't want to eat, so the owner cared enough to offer my dog some soft food on top of his dry food to get him to eat. They didn't charge me for the soft food either. The dogs have human contact through out the day, all day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs some place to board their dog.

I agree with DROSSER. We went last year and had a good time and returned this year and my daughter enjoyed it again. She loves going out in public and wondering what "friends" she will see outside of school and dance. We watched the 3 & 4 year olds and everyone did great. Then my daughter was in the 5 & 6 year old group. It wasn't until the very end of both of these groups did the parents trail behind their kids to collect the kids. I never saw any of the parents try to pick up eggs. Someone I knew had a 3 year old and he refused to even pick up the egg directly in front of h

There's one in Douglasville on Hwy 5 & Douglas Blvd. called Kid to Kid. They will buy the items that they think will sell. They will either give you cash or you can take store credit. Or in a couple of months several Churches around the area will have their annual consignment sales. My Kidz Closet is one of them.

Last year we went to the one in Hiram and then later went to the one at White Oak Park. The one in Hiram was AWFUL! Complete ciaos and totally ridiculous! The one at White Oak was much more organized and they have the fields divided up into age groups. My daughter feared for her life in Hiram. However; when we left White Oak, she said that was a good egg hunt.

Does anyone know the date and time for the White Oak Park Easter Egg Hunt?

No assesments at New Ga. The teacher told me that they quit doing them at registration because it puts the kids on the spot and most kids shy away and don't want to cooperate. They said it's easier to do on the first day of school.

Going to New Ga. this afternoon. Plan on taking my daughter with me.
