Totally agree. I was in an odd situation once and everyone I knew could NOT believe that I didn't go crazy on the person. Honestly, weird things can happen so quickly that you just stand there in shock for a moment. And then the person is gone. Which is what I'm assuming happened in this case.

Me too! I can't even go into Kirkland's. Okay, let's ban smoking and legalize marijuana. But, of course, the government will mess that up too. Look at what's been done to cigarettes. You do realize it's the additives that are bad for you, not the tobacco.

I'm with NC and SOLO. My kids are elementary age. We've already discussed alcohol and illegal drugs quite a bit. And we've discussed moderation. We aren't tee-totallers, but they don't see us stump-walking drunk either. We rarely drink. I'd be real curious to know how those who support marijuana use feel about cigarettes. I do not believe marijuana is safer than cigarettes and I do not believe it's harmless. However, I would consider the decriminalization of marijuana. But still not for underage use.

For now I say "not completely innocent". I think you'd need a better understanding of the young boys to know if they truly could have said no. I'd rather not judge that situation just yet. I think he most likely totally abused his position and I think the socio-economic status of the young men paid a huge factor. And I think it's one of the saddest situations around. He was in a position to do so much good for so many young men and to make a positive difference in their lives. Instead he abused them.
