Unless someone has a serious compelling reason why I should vote otherwise, I at NO on all amendments. IN PARTICULAR, #2 is getting a BIG FAT NO from me. (Don't even bother trying to sway me on that one.) I am so sick and tired of the emotional pleas on people's heartstrings with that one. When they launched the commercial with the mother whose son had drowned. I was DONE! That secured my NO. The life of a child should not be used for political gain. Do we need more trauma centers? Yes, I'm reasonably convinced that we do. My current position is find another way to pay for it.

Is it annoying? yes. Do they all do it? yes. Would I withhold my vote because of one? no. well, maybe yes, if it was really stupid. Fact is, withholding your vote because of these calls would only result in your being unable to vote because they all do it. My phones are for my convenience. I pick and choose which calls I answer. It's that simple.

Mine flared in 2003 when I was pregnant with my daughter about a month before she was born. I had it out when she was about 5 weeks old (unplanned, especially since I had her by C-section (long story)). I didn't have any problems and I had 3 (unplanned) surgeries in 5 weeks (including the C-section). You'll be fine We'll be here for you if you need anything.

Really? You comment above (and other comments) would indicate that you believe the ends do in fact justify the means. The truth is your Dist 19 candidate has employed some less than stellar, and somewhat sneaky, means to obtain this seat. So, do you only require honesty from the candidates you don't support?

I didn't make any comment about verifying funds, so I don't know if this is directed at my comments. however, I was simply pointing out that the same level of service has apparently been offered the county almost 4 months after a contract had expired. I don't know why the contract wasn't in place. But it would appear that the county had actually put Sam in a bad place because of this. Did the county contract require any accountability? It's paying for a service. The service has been there. My guess is that an audit would show that the county needs to provide more funding than it's cu
