Just got home. Roads where mostly clear and dry.. Jut got the call about a hour ago, no school tomorrow. We went down hwy 120 and 278.

I am betting they will be opened. The road in front of my house is dry. I live in a subdivision. I am going to go check out the roads in just a few min. I will let you know when I get home how they are.

Sounds like mom is brain washing the kid and making the kid afraid of the dad. I have seen it and continue to see it with a friend. It is a very sad situation. I don't understand why both parents can't just split visitation for the child's benefit. Just because the mother had a problem with the dad does not mean the Dad would ever have a problem with the kid.

I just got back from rockmart walmart. they are already restocked and had everything you might need.

Dont go in. We are in a state of emergency and here it is all rain and sleet. The trees are turning white with ICE.. If you do, take food, water and emergency supplies.. Also, maybe some chains for your tires, so you can get home tonight.. Maybe it will melt off in the afternoon and water will come off of trees

The higher attendance the school has for its students the more money it gets from the state. Can't wait to see how many kids miss more than 3 days next year.. I guess my daughters attendance will be going down next year. No reason for her to not miss any school. She looks forward to exempting the end of course test. Thank god she will be a Sr next year. At least she got to exempt her 9-11th. Was a nice perk for those who work there butts off in school, don't miss many days and have great grades.
