heard on the news today that Cobb county is not going to have to make up the days.

We paid $1700 for wood stove. We get fire wood free from our land. so it will pay for it self in no time. I can't wait to see my light bill. I love the wood stove.

Had At&T for 15 years. Will never do business with them again. November 1st, We told them to cancel our service. Their phones don't pick up anywhere and you can never speak to anyone you can understand, unless you say you are leaving, then they offer you sun and moon. I have water on my wood stove, I boil water, plus have a humidifier in my living room. It does help keep house warm. My house was so hot when we had the snow and freeze we had to open a window for a while. I love my new wood stove, I will never live in a house again without one. Matter of fact when I move I am taking my wood stove with me. My light bill has not came in yet. I am hoping it isn't to high, since we got the wood stove last month.

There are a lot of trucks on 113 (South west Paulding) as well. The trucks get off of I-20 and take Hwy 61 to Hwy 113 to get to Rockmart, Rome and such. If they did a by pass it would not have made any difference in the traffic. The people would have been backed up there as well. Thousands of people can not leave all at the same time.. You should have seen West Ga Collage. They closed school and 3000+ students left at the same time. The traffic was so bad it took me 2 hours just to get to HWY 27, which was right next to the school. It was not the snow that was causing the slow down

I dunno anything about men and their giant TV's.. I know am a woman and I LOVE my giant TV.. Makes my sports and movies so much better.. I hate having to strain my eyes to watch a little TV. I like seeing people on TV,, life sized..

I would rather have spring break then February break. WTH.. Also why cant they put in for the state of emergency like Alabama did? Then we would not have to make them up. They are just to lazy to send in the paper work to get is approved. I remember when I was kid we went to school on a Saturday to make up for a snow day.. It was a wasted day, all we did is play. They took snow days out of the calendar, how stupid was that..

Yes, i remember as a kid in winter, sitting in the center of the bus cause that is where the heat came out..

people left their cars because, they could not get any farther. they where stuck in the ICE. So they left the cars on the sides of the roads because it was not safe for them to just stay in the car. DUH< if you are 3 or less miles from home, why would you want to wait in the car, when you can go home, have food, bathroom and heat.

My daughter and her Boyfriend got out of the car today on Hwy 61 in Carrolton and helped push several cars up a hill. I have never been so proud. Was not like we where going anywhere. They had 4 trucks blocking both lanes. We felt it was better than sitting and watching them slide and go no where. Also, with them out of the way, it helped 50+ cars get to moving again.

I noticed today while out on my 7 hour drive, that the big trucks and bus's where not getting very good traction and where worse off than the cars. Most 4 wheel drive trucks and cars and front wheel drive cars where doing much better than others. I left West Ga College at noon. I got home a little after 7pm.. It is normally a 45 min drive.

they made kids stay until 12 so they would not have to make it up. They should have sent kids home as soon as the snow started falling. THis is just wrong. These poor kids.. The school has shown us how much they care for the well being of our kids. My daughters bus almost didnt get her home today. there is no excuse period..

My husband had his C-4 and C-5 done, With the cage and cadaver bone bone thing about 7 or 8 years ago. He had the surgery and when he came out he was in less pain than he was when he went in. He came off the Morphine pain meds 2 hours after surgery. Just took 2 pills for pain. He was back home in 2days. They went into the front of his neck and you can't even tell, no scar at all. I am glad he didnt do the hip thing. Recovery would have been longer and he would have had more pain. The cadaver bone bone thing has worked beautifully.

Had a car of teenagers riding my car on Friday morning, when I hit the Scoggins school zone, and New Ga school zone.(I went 35 like I was supposed to) The kids where so close to my bumper I could not see their head lights.
