  1. Cool... I miss the local owned type pharmacies. As a kid, I remember visiting friends and walking to Wyatt's Pharmacy on Bankhead in Lithia Springs... we'd all leave there with a huge sack of candy. Not so good for our toofers, but it's a great memory.
  2. Well, in that case, I'm gonna start chewing more of it. Gotta work on this turkey neck. lol
  3. May I ask what kind of cancer did she have? So sad.
  4. I heard that. Especially when they are carrying around a nasty spit bottle or cup. :X
  5. Chic Fil A will do good there! The other one stays pretty packed. Chic Fil A Rocks!!
  6. Yep... pretty much for fresh breath. Once it loses it's flavor, I'm done with it.
  7. Yes, it is the norm for rent to increase on both Commercial and Residential properties. I have worked in Property Management, and worked for companies in which I was involved in the renewal of the space that we leased as well as shared space that we leased to others. The property owners do incur increases of their own and they have to pass this off to their tenants in order to not loose money. Now, with that being said, jacking the rent up to an astronomical amount just to get rid of a tenant to make room for someone else is not ethical, however I do not know if this is the case. I love
  8. So sorry to hear this. Prayers going up for her loved ones.
  9. Ummmmm sounds like someone got caught with his pants down in the wrong location. Naked dude is probably lucky he didn't get shot.
  10. I came home from work one day and I had this new gray cat in my house that I had never seen. On closer look, I discovered it was actually my black cat. She had somehome gotten locked in our basement room so she broke through the vent and climbed through it.. tore off the vent cover upstairs and jumped down. She was covered in dust bunnies. Sorry you had to tear your wall out. Glad you are taking care of them and going to find them homes.
  11. I'm not going to argue this with anyone... I'm a lover, not a fighter and everyone is entitled to their opinion. With that being said, students are tested on each subject as they go. They aren't just "doint it" to get a piece of paper... they are testing and passing. If they are passing, they are getting the credits. They have earned that piece of paper and worked very, very hard for it.
  12. Maybe your hubby will pick up some of this idiots patients. I've been to your hubby and he is a very kind man and an excellent Chiro! People just never cease to amaze me. Being a victim of fraud/theft last year to the tune of over $9,000 I know how violated these patients feel.
  13. So sad. She will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  14. I like my bed too much, but good luck!
  15. Thanks on the Kudos. I was glad that she didn't let it break her spirit. I don't think it was the same counselor. She got placed as the Freshman advisor after that year, probably because of the complaints and the large number of kids that didn't walk. Very frustrating. My youngest daughter gets to have her as a counselor this coming school year as a Freshman... not thrilled, but better than dealing w/ her as a Senior counselor.
  16. Love it. I'm going to borrow that one for FB.
  17. I'm don't want to get up on my soapbox, but I'm gonna for a min, as this is a very, very sore subject with me. My daughter didn't get to graduate in 2007 due to this test. She has a slight disability from a BAD brain injury sustained as a small child. She worked her arse off to keep up with the other kids and she did so well that she managed to keep herself out of the Special Needs program during her high school years. She had all of her credits. But due to her disability, she doesn't test well. She couldn't get a modification because she wasn't in the Special Needs program, but she coul
  18. We had to have more field lines added to ours because these builders don't have enough put in. If you have a larger family, the usage is more. We did notice it was always worse after rain. I don't remember how much it cost us, as it was quite a while back, but it seems like it was expensive. They dug up most of the back yard and added more lines. It was a good investment, as we have had no problems since.
  19. And that will somehow turn into a slap down too.
