  1. But on the other hand the added expense makes it harder to bring them back to the normal hours and get our offices open to the public. I see the logic you are using but it just seems to be putting the cart before the horse....
  2. Still makes no sense not to put people back to work and instead give raises. Just makes it that much harder to remove the furlough days.
  3. FYI, The landlord can always provide notice for them to leave BUT that doesn't mean they will. If they choose not to, then the eviction process will still have to be initiated.
  4. It is insane how people drive on Dallas Hwy ESPECIALLY where John Ward connects.... People trying to cram theirselves into the lane going into Marietta at the last minute and people in that lane riding everyone's butt so that those people can't merge in. I agree that it ticks me off too that they didn't wait in line but I am not going to risk getting rear ended or rear ending someone to keep them out. So it's either the guy behind me is pissed or the guy merging in who can't get in. It's !
  5. I never meant or insinuated stupidity and only used ignorance because you said it so you didn't come back with "how damn dare you".... Whar OH whar is that zip smiley when you need it!
  6. Her, maybe... but if you like seeing the parents do odd tricks with their flab then there is something definitely very wrong with you...
  7. Did you know that pageants give scholarships to even the very youngest in some of the pageants? There was a lady speaking at the one we were at who's daughter graduated from Florida State and the Mom didn't owe a thing thanks to pageant scholarship money. As far as preparation for the future you can't get much better than that. It also teaches a myriad of other things if you let them go through it such as good sportsmanship, grace, self confidence, etc. The point is, there are extreme people in everything and it creates a negative views that may be unjustified. Dance included! (Have you
  8. I was a junk food kid, I loved almost anything Little Debbie made!
  9. Um do you REALLY think dance sells "sexy" or "skewed views of cute" any less than pageants? If so, ! My kid has done both and I would take being able to control the attire she wears over those required dance outfits anyday. And even though my kid has only done one at nine years old, I was WAY more impressed with how pageants attempt to prepare kids for the future than dance classes. There are people who take pageants to extremes and there are parents who take dance to extremes, never going to avoid it. But to suggest that dance is any less "sexy" is just . My kid wants to do dance agai
  10. Unless there is an HOA I can say for sure the parking in the yard thing is fine, nothing can be done about it unless they don't have a current tag for it. The camper thing, I don't know but I would guess that would be an issue. Call the Marshall's office, you don't have to tell them who you are to inquire.
  11. It's what I think when I read most of the posts from Lady Raider and Lowrider.... And if you look at their post count you will see that is a LOT of blah, blah, blah...
  12. What an idiot.... We have let our little girl (Nine Years Old) do one pageant and she loved it but there is no way I would ever let her do anything even remotely like that. She was beautiful and enjoyed it very much but I can see a lot of parents there doing anything it takes to win that trophy to fulfill some kind of fantasy they missed as a kid.... I have to say it looks like the kid does enjoy it and is not being forced to do it, but dang TEACH YOUR KID SOME MODESTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With that said, we will let her do more once we find some of the no glitz pageants because there
  13. I tried the vinegar and water this weekend and was very unimpressed. The floors were incredibly dull looking. So I went back and did it with the Bona and it looked somewhat better, like it usually does....
  14. But why was the flyer removed? Did NC violate a rule none of us are aware of?
  15. Um since when is it not allowed to post a flyer of an event?
  16. Agreed! Most good doctors are HARD to get a routine appt with, sure you can go to a crappy one but um, well it's my kid and I would prefer for them to have good medical care. I know, call me crazy! (Just to clarify - Our kids doctor is great, they fit us in for sick appts but routine visits are a long wait.)
