  1. Thanks, I rarely ever drive it less than 20 minutes each trip, typically about 45, so I should be good. I will leave i alone unless I suspect there is a concern.
  2. Now y'all have me wondering if I should do this... I have an 02 Expedition with 130k miles that, just like the OP, I absolutely love... And I am a FREQUENT trader typically so to keep one is pretty shocking. There is nothing wrong with it but I too am a huge preventative maintenance freak. I just wonder if I should have this done on mine....
  3. Congrats, it is beautimous! There is nothing like having you own pool. So happy you are almost ready to dive in!
  4. Sums it up... So sorry for your loss.. :-(
  5. Oh and find one soon! When I called two weeks ago almost everyone was a month booked out.
  6. I will tell you NOT to use Kelly no matter who recommends them... I have been trying for five months to get them to replace about fifteen bushes that died and they promised to warranty. They promised it would be done after the threat of frost was gone, still no replacements. After five months of asking I have given up and just started doing it myself this past weekend. Today I filed a BBB complaint against them and will be visiting the magistrate court as soon as I have all the replacement plants purchased. Horrible, HORRIBLE experience....
  7. I am thankful this never happened to me when I had small ones but if it did I can't imagine making it to the point I would be prosecuted for anything... I couldn't live with myself after something that horrific that was my own fault.
  8. If everyone is so predictable why post it in the first place... Just keep it to yourself...
  9. Wonderworks I think...My kids were bored pretty quick there but if the kids are into science it is a fun experience.
  10. Oh and don't drive to Dollywood, park at Patriot Park and take the trolley there... I think it's 50 cents but it takes you right up front and you don't have to walk as far or deal with getting in/out and paying for parking.
  11. if they like water you can go to Splash Country, it's owned by Dollywood. Dixie Stampede is fun as well. Other than that there are a lot of great areas to pull off and have a picnic and play in the stream. Just make sure they wear shoes, lots of hooks in those rocks! Honestly you could just buy a Dollywood season pass and spend all your time there and splash country even if you never go back you will have paid for the pass. They could easily have a blast in those two places and not get bored in a week. (or at least my kids could)
  12. My sod still needs water for another 10 days so that should get you a good bit into it with no rain. and . So excited fer ya!!!
  13. Amdro ant bait will work and is cheap. We put a few around my moms house last year and no problem since!
  14. We built this house and did all tub surrounds, showers and bathroom floors in tile... First housewe did this way, previously we had fiberglass... Can't say I would ever do the tile again. Spend all that Money for something more difficult to keep clean, more likely to leak in time and end up hiding behind a curtain. A lot do it to impress and for what? no one sees it...
  15. Nope, longggggggggg hot summer please... I hear you can get a short summer up north though....
  16. There should be no joking about the tunnels or about Fred's closing. Enough is enough!
  17. Lawd do I ever! LOL I know you are excited, it truly is amazing to be able to walk out your back door to such an amenity, I am glad you pulled the trigger on getting it!
  18. Did you get your deck permitted too? If not be prepared to get a permit and have it inspected once they come check the pool. We had to put some stupid ass things on our deck including concrete piers to get it passed. The door alarms are a pain in the ass too. We are putting up the required gate just so we can get rid of them. I thought about just removing them after the inspection but they said that if we do and someone gets hurt then they can deny coverage. When it comes to pools I would rather be safe than sorry, so a gate it shall be.... And good luck on the timeline, I hope you g
  19. Same thing as today. Grilling and enjoying the pool... hopefully that will remain the only items on the agenda!
