Anyone have experience with dysgraphia?
its mr sarcastic to you replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Gog8tors it seems like there is quite a bit out there to help, it looks like it's just a keep trying until you find the solution that works for your situation but I have seen a lot of options. Jola we will give those practices a shot as well, it seems that might be more of a fun type thing versus a misery exercise in his mind. -
Anyone have experience with dysgraphia?

Yeah, sadly that is an area I really have to work on... I go in every time saying I am not going to make it a horrible experience but it ends up in a war... Still working on that area, aware I don't need to make it a horrible experience, just not there yet.... -

It's good to know we aren't the only ones! We are looking into options and trying different routes to help him. We don't want him to get preferential treatment such as being able to type his work instead of writing it. We want him to be able to write legibly, not necessarily nice or incredibly neat but legible. If there is an issue, we want to acquire the knowledge to help him correct/improve it. -

We are checking this route as well. We picked up some of the Ticonderoga tri side pencils tonight to see if that helps with his grip on the pencil. -

That is the rumor around town! LOL -
I am looking for anyone that may have personal experience with dysgraphia... Our youngest is a very intelligent boy, very smart, was asked to be in Venture and does well in school EXCEPT his handwriting is horrible. I mean, horrible... He is in 3rd grade now and struggles with almost every area that is associated with dysgraphia. We have contact the school and are awaiting their response to see if they have any testing for this condition but wanted to see if anyone here has experience with this particular condition. And yes, we have worked and worked with him on this but no improvement i

Can she make and take a salad or anything? There are tons of cheap things I see on the aisles that state they are gluten free and not really specialty products, just normal everyday food/snacks. If she likes salads, they are really cheap and she can create it however she wants and you will have the peace of mind knowing exactly what she is eating...

Really... how many rough winters have we experienced here??? I wouldn't have thought twice about planning a trip for winter break and just keeping my kid out if it was cancelled. It has nothing to do with stupid, it has to do with chancing the odds and quite frankly the odds were in everyone's favor. We didn't plan a trip but I wouldn't be the least bit remorseful had I needed to take them out a couple of days. The choice to do a week like they did invited the situation. When I was in school they sprinkled the days all over so that it wouldn't be such a

Ahhhh... I betcha a lot of folks who did buy it didn't get that "cancel for whatever reason" option. I didn't know it existed but it is great to know that is an option.

It's scary out there even today... On my way in there was still a good bit of ice on the right lane of Barrett Pkwy about 9am, people were driving like it was nothing... A lowered VW bit the curb HARD as a result of their decision to drive like that and then slam on their brakes after they got on the ice. They could have really hurt people had they went into the other lanes. People need to slow down and realize their life is more valuable than getting somewhere on time. :-(

I was pretty shocked... I expected way WAY better and we just havent received it... except the customer service, it still sucks, which I knew would probably happen given past personal experience. -

I saw several people getting one or two loaves but no one was hoarding... Two loaves is not a lot for a family of five. And I agree with Tess, I am more worried about the drive thru's!
