I talked to a friend last night & she is now very upside down on her house. She & her husband are talking about walking away from it . Yes , many of us do get 'bent out of shape' about this numbers . I for 1 do .. I have met a few people on here . and many of you know I am a widow raising 2 kids. Last month I finally found a job ! It was full time , $7.35 per hour ! My hours were 4 pm until midnight . It was the hardest job I've ever had . Lifting, scrubbing, standing all day . I did something stupid , I quit . I was not offended by the clapping . It's a proud moment . But I was offended by the amount of garbage left in the stands. Can't blame that on the teens ! Would it kill a person to pick up their water or Coke bottle and put it in the garbage on their way out ? I also saw a parent drop an empty Powerade bottle on the football field afterwards when famalies were taking pictures . All in all . It was well organized, fun and I will clap for my daughter when she graduates !

I agree woth lovemuppet . For years , I had been the Mom to have the kids at my house. They eat , drink & stay all day . I used to drive kids all over too . White water , church on Wednesday nights , bowling , football games .. you name it . Racked up quite a few miles on my car . Many times, took the kids to McDonalds . The bad part .. you never see the parents . Rarely would one come out and say "thank you ". I dont think they were even ever home . They never even asked for my phone number to check on their kids. I am not going to graduation . But we have 3 graduation parties to attend Sunday . I have known these kids since they were 4 years old . I used to babysit one . I can't believe they have grown up so fast . I am very proud of them ! WAY TO GO CLASS OF 2011 !!!

I have a neice who got into drugs . My brother & his wife put her into a treatment facility , and she made new friends there & came out worse. You never know . They finally took her to a doctor & found out she is bipolar . Thinking back , she was very depressed in high school and barely went to school . Got her on treatment for bipolar , and with meds & frequent blood tests , she has streightened out . This is for sure a touchy subject . when Fox5 had viewers text in to vote , the votes were 51% to 49 % . Luckily, both of my young adults passed on the first try . So I asked them their thoughts.
