I talked to my son . He loved Venice .But he said he did not spend much time in tourist traps . He just walked around a lot . he did not take much money & said it's expensive. He went to St. Mark's Square. Fed pigeons. Walked the square . Ate some gelato. Went in shops . he did take a gondola ride . He said it was cool but the water is polluted, teal & had dead pigeon in it At St. Marks he went to a museum on top of a church . he said you can look down and see everything & get some good pics from up there. He toured Doge’s Palace . He said there are good views from there too.
