I can't believe that man swam a foot away from the whale and looked in it's eyes. That whale was so happy when set free . It did a happy dance

best way to assist someone you don't know personally

I agree . I would rather personally give to a family I know who is in need , than give to an organization that takes donations & only a small percentage goes to their cause. -
I haven't gone to any reunions, I wish I could . I graduated in Indiana and we had a graduating class of 500 . Almost everyone still lives there & their kids have gone to the same high school . Not many left , I feel I'm missing out . They even have a Facebook . My 10 year reunion was my wedding day . My 15th I was ready to pop with our 1st child . 20th , I lived in Georgia & just had my 2nd child . The 10th , was on a Saturday . They had a golf game in the morning & the reception hall at night . The following Sunday they had a picnic at a park for families & their

I agree . I get sick of everything being in Atlanta . I've been looking for a job & even the job fairs are in Atlanta . We need more businesses here . And I think that location will be great for visitors . It's right by Red Top Mountain ,the lake, Right off of I-75 , and less congested than Atlanta . I used to hear that a mall would be going up on that property . So glad that didn't happen . -

I had some challenges 2 years ago . And I did get some help which did give me hope and get me back on my feet . A church paid my GreyStone bill that month (a church volunteer actually drove to GreyStone and paid it) . Which was a blessing because my electric had been turned off . They also gave me a box of food . Also , a company in Kennesaw adopted my kids for that Christmas. Anonymous people gave me Visa , Home Depot , Wal Mart & Target gift cards so I could give my kids a Christmas . I was very honest and bought my kids Christmas gifts . I also got a box of soaps & stuff from Pr -

Is that Bartow or Cobb county ? Sounds like a great sports complex . And a nice central location . Glad to see jobs coming to this neck of the woods . -
I don't know if I can say this . And if I can't the mods can delete it . But after years of carrying auto/home insurance , I feel it is best to find a good agent . I have gone with companies with cute commercials , and never talking to a live person & didn't know what the heck I was doing . I went to an Allstate agent on Cedarcrest named Mr. Upton . He is so kind and actually will sit with you , explain and work with what you can afford . I also feel that company has made changes to be very customer friendly . Also , my auto is paid in full . But I have had a few friends t

I am sure they are just looking out for fraud . But, a company I worked for for 18 years told me I could not insure my husband because he was 'head of household.' Yet, the male employees were able to insure their wives because the male was considered 'head of household.' I fought it & was able to insure my husband . But I had to bring in proof that I made more than him . I felt it was very sexist

I was really tired Saturday & slept most of the day . A real hard sleep . I realized Sunday morning that I had a low grade fever . Took some Advil & broke the fever . Since then , I have alittle sinus & itchy eyes . I wasn't sure if it was a cold or allergies .

Through the years , I have worked with many gay men . None of them were someone you would meet & think 'oh, he's gay.' They were men that had been married like 25 years , had a family & then came out . Each one was still friends with his ex-wife & lived with their significant other . That said, each one was great to work with. They were open to me about their life choice & I was OK with it . They were friends . I was brought up religious , but I was also taught to love one another . I honestly don't think Washington should have to worry about this , and I don't th

High School Son Needs a Physical and I am broke!
stbarts replied to GreenThumbsnButterfingers's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My daughter had a sport physical at a CVS Minute Clinic which advertised sports physicals . I paid $39.00 . The school said it did not count because it was done by a nurse practitioner & not a doctor . So I was out $39.00 . So be careful of that . -
Sadly, we will never know . The Navy Seal's are so secret , I doubt if we will ever get any names or news on this. They gave the ultimate sacrifice. It's so sad. As for your question, the government is too busy trying to buy friends, such as Pakistan, they don't get it that these countries do not care. I hope our president enjoyed his $38,500 a plate birthday bash in Chicago . As the stock market crashes and our troops are in harms way . And Americans are programmed not to speak up anymore .

I'm there . I work some temp jobs . Make like $300 a month . I sell things . I make sure I pay my electric & water . Empty fridge . apply , apply , apply .. Sit in the house . Drive only when I have to . Returned things to have money for childs school supplies . I'm not the only one . I think people don't really understand until it hits them . I have a friend who fixed my car . God bless that friend .. I have babysat a neighbors child for free . This is a time when friends & community need to get back together & love one another .
