Ok you want to know about unemployment. We started down this road when we gave up our manufacturing base and decided that we were too educated and too good to do manual labor. The degrees that some people hold are not worth toilet paper. "Oh I have a psychology degree with a minor in political science and computer science " and this job is beneath me. Big whoop , will you produce,will you sweat, will you contribute, what is your work ethic. What do you produce that I can put my hand on and say this product is worth x amount of dollars. We (country as a whole or a larger and larger percentage)

It would be absolutely politically impossible for Israel to send troops to these conflicts. That is exactly what the Islamic extremists want them to do. When the crap hits the fan, and it will, our biggest ally will have the Star of David on wings of their fighters. You can count on it.

While I have to believe the voting date was a preconceived idea to effect the outcome the pathetic turn out has more to do with apathy than the date. Apparently the pro sales people either took it for granted or were too lazy to support the measure in large numbers. Their is a large part of the long time citizens in this county that oppose Sunday sales for any number of reasons. Look at the number of church's in the county and you will see that religion is central and a way of life to many residents. There are ( I have not counted in a while) 11 churches on the the stretch of Hiram-Sudie/Scogg

I voted in Yorkville around 2 pm. Their was one other lady voting and the poll workers said it was a very weak turn out.

Have flown into and out of St. Maarten once. The runway dead ends at a beach on one end and a mountain on the other. The island is only 36 square miles ( or in that neighborhood). Not for the faint of heart. When I saw it on approach I thought the 757 was bigger than the airport. Island is half French half Dutch with two distinct cultures on each end of the island. Folklore claims a French captain and a Dutch captain started walking on each end of the island towards the center and where they met would determine the boundaries. The Dutch captain got drunk and only covered about 1/3 the distance

Those drifters days are past me now. I've got so much more to think about. Deadlines and commitments, what to leave in, what to leave out.

I usually just read and ignore post I don't agree with as everyone is entitled to their opinion. Bab's is the most over rated, unattractive, nerve racking, self centered, loud mouthed, no talented, hypocritical actress/performers I have ever seen. She makes me cringe when she speaks. Talk about self centered and narcistic she leads the crowd. Usually I ignore a performers "off screen" life but her and Jane Fonda make me sick. Ok I digress, sorry. JMO

Good move I think he can contribute 2-3 more years ( although this next will be his last). He is a tremendous athlete in top physical condition. He shows no signs of slowing down and had a very productive season last year. He is the best overall TE in the league and he and Ryan click. Now the DEFENSE on the other hand is pathetic.

I think the court is lined up to uphold Maryland. Alito, Roberts, Scalia, Thomas all yes to uphold. Kennedy will be the swing and judging from his record on similar criminal rights cases I think he will go with these five and vote to uphold. The precedent will be the current finger printing laws which are basically an identifying marker taken without consent when you are incarcerated. JMO

Maybe not an option at this point. I have not lived in a subdivision in over 25 years I chose this lifestyle in part due to these kinds of conflicts. I have few neighbors, none within 1500' and the house is set 1000' off the road. Anyone or thing coming down my drive better need to be there. I do not miss the dog poo type of neighbors at all. However I am not a hermit the neighbors that are around me are friends of mine now.
