Wow very interesting. I will admit I have always put a large part of the blame on the controllers based on my limited knowledge of all the events of that day. I am a little defensive about the two to three minutes of lost communications at least partly being blamed on the crew. I was not in the cockpit but I imagine they were a little busy at the controls of a powerless jetliner. Good story never the less.

Washington Gas just built two solar farms in Polk County (Cedartown and Rockmart). Inman Solar is building a solar farm in Aragon. All three are rated at 1mw each. They tried to build in Paulding but were not offered the incentives they received in Polk county.

Was in Florida fishing this weekend but caught the second half of the Georgia game. Funny the fishing trip did not make me seasick but I did get sick watching a pathetic Dawgs defense. Yes they were some bad calls and I won't revisit the injury situation, but come on, Vandy, really? I was walking my dog near the beach Sunday morning with my Dawgs hat on and ran into a dude with a Arkansas shirt on. He looked at me and said "wow tough day yesterday, huh?" All I could respond was "Freaking Vandy are you kidding". We both managed a small grin and went about our way.

Still a Dawgs fan. SEC the toughest conference by far. Our defense stunk up the field, offensive line was average at best and Murray does not make the decisions a fifth year player should be making. We are injury and NFL draft depleted but you have got to win the tough games in a tough season. We are still a good team and can hang with anyone on a good day. Today was not a good day.

What I got out of the little I saw on TV was that Delta and "Cash-um" Reed are against expansion or investing in "our" airport at this time. Delta carries a big stick in this state with major influence in the FAA and other governing bodies so don't get too jacked up about commuter services except on a very small scale yet. Build the reservoir, offer tax and developmental incentives if you want to attract business. Cut taxes and scrap "affordable healthcare" on small business if you want to create jobs. There was a jet fighter (only caught a glimpse once possibly F-18) hot rodding around Hulseytown yesterday literally rattling the windows and terrifying the livestock. Stupid jackasses can take the freaking airport and shove it. I'm glad the elitist of the county think it is so valuable to the citizens. Why don't they move they tails over here by it if they love it so much. We never wanted or needed the stupid thing around here. Where are all the jobs and support businesses promised to spring up around the "Atlanta West Airport". Political, elitist BS.

No big shocker. Falcons are a 8-8 to 10-6 team at best. Go back and look at the post with the preseason predictions and I said the same thing. Patriots are a slightly better team but just slightly. While I found Eric to be a bit too laid back at times I still thought he added a little "regular" to the guys. Larry and SSS are narcistic loud mouths especially Larry who I find creepy as hell sometimes. SSS is a self centered dumbass who contributes nothing to the show. Stooges were vaudeville adapted to the screen, great slap stick. you have to put their work in the context of the time period and cannot compare them to 1980's and later so called physical comedians of which the only ones I find even slightly funny are Chris Farley and sometimes John Belushi. Love the stooges except Curly Joe, he is a little bit to silly for my taste. And for you snobs the stooges are not meant to raise your IQ they are meant to be ridiculous and entertaining that is part of the appeal.
