Wild dogs or roamers ? We had excitement this morning!

I am an animal lover and can show you the vet and feed bills to prove it. I currently have two dogs, two barn cats and six horses. In this case I would have no problem using "extreme prejudice" on both dogs. Try a .223 next time low recoil, usually high capacity and will get the job done. There is a leash law and an aggressive animal law that will back you up. You have the right to protect yourself or your property (pet) at least until the current federal administration appoints a few more panty waste liberals to the bench. No judge/DA in this county will prosecute if you felt threatened by an -

There is a witch doctor behind Metromount in Hiram and a faith healer near the old Freds in Dallas. Both will do you as much good as a Chiropractor. There is zero credible medical evidence that "adjustments" do squat except make your wallet or purse a little lighter to carry which might help your back. Exercise and physical therapy will do much more for your ailments.

This site is the closest thing to social media I have ever participated in. Never even seen a FB page and do not have a clue how to Tweet. I find them both but especially Twitter to be narcissistic and self centered. I could care less what anyone even my friends are doing 24/7. I do however see how the communication side with children or old friends could be useful in limited doses. JMO

I never understood this show when I was a child it kinda freaked me out. Puff was a cross between a Beatles Big Blue Meany and McDonalds Mayor McCheese but definitely was on the pipe or shrooms. There was some light in the loafer British kid, Witchy Poo (kinda a Granny Clampett combined with Hilary Clinton on acid) and they all broke into song about ten times a show. Oh yes and puppets, lots of puppets. The production cost had to be around $100.00 an episode. The whole Omni connection was the World of Sid and Marty Croft which had at the time the worlds longest escalator that rose from the fir -

I have a few questions for you business management folks
Stonewall replied to nschur's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The OP has already been stated that this is a right to work state. This appears to be a small business with less than 10 employees so basically they can hire and fire as they please for whatever reason they please. The exception being violations of federal/state employment laws such as discrimination. The employer however cannot leave her in "limbo" either she is an employee or not. She can force their hand by contacting the state labor commissioner's office. As for UI she can certainly file and let them decide on eligibility. -
Another swipe at southern heritage. Patrick Cleburne was a man of honor and possibly the greatest unheralded commander of the great war. His battle record says all that needs to be said regardless of your opinion of the "Great Cause". Ask the man who waged war on women and children (William T. Sherman) what he thinks of the fighting Irishman. There were two men "Cump" Sherman feared above all, Nathan Bedford Forrest and Patrick Cleburne. Cleburne never lost an engagement and never ran from a fight. He whooped the dog sh*t out of Sherman at Pickett's Mill. You ask who cares, I do. Stonewall.

Amen to that. I only remember hearing of a handful of drownings during all those years, maybe a couple or three on the news. Nothing short of a miracle. We were too poor to get to Lanier but I have partied at Kings Camp and jumped out of the little tree on the cliffs many times at Allatoona. Yes my friend I had no idea how special those times were until I became a broken down old man. :cray:

That year and I think it was '80 could have been '79 the river was very high, muddy and the current was swifter than normal. There was a big dead fall not far from the 285 bridge right at Riverbend. Rafts, tubes, canoes, etc. were piling up in the branches probably ten or twelve across. We had talked to this raft full of girls earlier up the river. Somehow like everyone else we got stuck in this mass of rafts and were close to making it out and around the tree when these same chicks slammed into the very back side of the flotilla. The impact sent the one girl backwards into the water and the c

Participated from 76-80. You just had to be there to understand. A friend of mine saved a girl from drowning at the '80 race (she and her friends showed us they were very appreciative, VERY appreciative), took canoes in '79 (big mistake) flipped over every 100 yards or so, got in a hell of a fight in '78 (3 on 4 outnumbered but we prevailed) to quote TK "there was a time back in my prime when I could really hold my own", took us ten hours to go from Morgan Falls to 41 bridge in '77, floated whole way in an inner tube in '76 and had a half dozen leaches on me when I got out. Not proud and do no

I was watching this morning at 7:02 the camera changed from night vision to color it reminded me of the Wizard of Oz changing to color when Dorothy arrives in Oz. Sorry I got off subject from my original thought. Owls are probably the most effective winged predator we have in the wild at least when it comes to rodent hunting. They don't have the majesty of Eagles, Hawks or Falcons possibly because they are mostly nocturnal hunters and kinda freaky looking. They have incredible night vision, strong claws, razor sharp talons, compact heavy boned frames and best of all are stealth almost complete -
Have not seen any or heard any around here yet. I went through Wheeler NWR in Priceville (Decatur) Alabama two weeks ago and there were hundreds if not thousands of Sandhills resting and foraging in the shallows.

Point being had the suspect not been a loser the police would not have had to serve this particular warrant. I have lived over 50 years and the authorities have never showed up at my house with a warrant and the knowledge that there could be a confrontation. -

I was told at the hospital by ER staff that this young man "bled out" on his way or prior to his initial transport by ambulance and that emergency responders and ER team work diligently on him. This is a very tragic story and it breaks my heart. I was not there and will hold my opinion on law enforcement until all the details come out (they may very well be responsible I do not know). Having said that there is one person who is absolutely at fault regardless of circumstance. That is the young mans sorry ass father. He should suffer the same fate as his son. Had he not been a probation offender
