  1. To the OP I am sure all these recommendations are legit and I have not heard anything negative about Sanders at all. He seems to be a credible business. However in the future I would not make "cheap" my first criteria. It begs for you get what you pay for. JMO.
  2. Transmissions by Joe-Dallas. They do all work not just transmissions.
  3. A very under rated actor and apparently a nice guy to boot. Loved Barney Miller and thought he was superb as Tessio and held his own with Brando, Pacino and Duval. Pretty damn good company. He reminds me of a Ben Johnson type character actor, he did not need the lead role but he contributed to the credibility of the cast and made a better movie. RIP Mr. Vigoda.
  4. Dolly Pardon may be the most under rated song writer in Nashville. Not to mention a good musician and a great voice. She played up her "assets" but that was the price to keep in the spotlight in old Nashville. Jolene, Coat of Many Colors, Tennessee Mountain Home, Joshua, Love is Like a Butterfly and of course I Will Always Love You to name a few are really well written songs. Dolly and Loretta came up in the middle of the all boys club and through talent proved they could hang with boys.
  5. Maybe when Hussein forks over another $1.8 billion by executive treason we can trade another ten prisoners for one of ours. Freaking loser POSPOTUS.
  6. I am really bummed out by the death of Glenn Frey. This basically means The Eagles are no more. While T.B. Schmitt easily filled Randy Meisner's spot and JO WAH filled in after Felder left (actually my favorite line up was Felder and JO WAH together) there is no replacing Frey. It is the equivalent of the Stones without "Keef" or Fleetwood Mac without Mick Fleetwood. It is just not the same band. RIP Mr. Frey you were as good as they come at your craft.
  7. Only movie I can sit through with Matt Damon is "The Departed" because Wahlburg puts a slug in him at the end. Not big on Sci-Fi so I will skip this one. Heard it is pretty good if you like that kind of movie. JMO
  8. Looks like Bama is gonna need a bigger band wagon. Go Dawgs.
  9. Absolutely despise snow/ice and pretty much Winter in general. I look at the weather through the eyes of someone who owns livestock and there is nothing pretty about frozen water and cold wet livestock. Makes life considerably harder. JMO.
  10. Do not sit around and listen to Bowie but I did appreciate his talent as an artist. Truly an original I don't think there would be a Gaga, Marilyn Manson or Madonna type without the way being paved by Ziggy Stardust. RIP major Tom, Planet Earth is Blue and there's nothing I can do.
  11. The title of this thread is just not true and that really pisses me off!
  12. I have not really paid any attention to this story so I am just catching up. Seems to me there are conflicting stories with both sides sharing in the blame. I can tell you this from my limited but personal experience with the folks in that part of the country (I have friends in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado). The farmers and ranchers out west HATE the BLM and totally distrust the Feds. I can only imagine that the BLM is ran as well as the rest of the Federal Govt. I am sure in the case of wild horse/predatory animal/endangered species management they are pretty much inept and clueless. Having
  13. While I love animals and agree you should have to have a license to own pets (or have children) this law is aimed at the TWH association. The USDA has been after them hard for several years and this is another weapon in their arsenal.
  14. They both suck hind teat. The worst franchise in the NFL here is why. While other teams may have worse records they do not have the talent in most cases (exception Detroit) that the Falcons have. They do more with less than the Falcons. Matty Ice has digressed the last two years. He seems totally with out the ability to read defenses. There are several rookies who make better decisions and throws than MR. Get rid of him he will never be more than he is now. The offensive line is offensive to watch, no cohesion, do not play as a unit (watch the Patriots O-Line for a description of cohesion). On
  15. Absolutely the Cobbler's Bench have had several saddles repaired there in the past. Good work a true skilled artisan at his craft.
  16. Was going to post yesterday just did not get around to it. Saw Greg Allman Weds. night at Symphony Hall. I had bought both my brothers and their wives tickets for Christmas so along with my lovely bride the six of us went. Great show performed many hits with a really good band line up. Greg played the Hammond B3, acoustic and electric guitars. Performed Statesboro Blues, Melissa, Whipping Post, Midnight Rider, These Days, Queen of Hearts, Come and Go Blues, Soulshine, Ain't Wasting Time No More, I'm No Angel and several more. Played about 1 1/2 hours which is short for Greg but he has had a li
  17. Glad falcons won, happier Panthers lost. Too little too late game meant nothing for this season. Found it a little pathetic (aka ESPN C'mon Man) Blank and company acting like it was a Super Bowl win when they are out of the play off picture with a sub standard team. Still lots of issues in the ATL.
  18. Steak House still open. Have had some great steaks there and some average steaks there pretty much like any other business.Same with service sometimes better than others. Steak still better than chain locations (Longhorn, Outback, etc.)with out the drive or traffic. Believe it or not best steak around, Gumbeaux (sp) Douglasville. Every steak I have had there is first class it is just hard to order steak with that great menu in front of you. Pizza farm never impressed me with any thing on the menu and I have tried pretty much everything. Not saying it is bad just not great. juleebella the Pizza
  19. Merry Christmas and may God bless us everyone.
  20. They certainly have the right to operate under any business plan they chose. I do know of one small chicken fast food franchise that does not open on Sunday and are mildly successful (Mr. Cathy's place). Some of you are right maybe it is the product/service that necessitates this plan.
  21. Knew Calvin from the GreyStone BOD. Very nice man. May God send his comforting angels to the family.
  22. If they peep in my window they will be peeping down the barrel of a .223 complete with 30 little packages of joy at the other end. Black, white, green, male, female, young or old. Don't say old Stonewall discriminates. Seriously Punky I think you just argue to argue no one is that liberal or stupid by accident.
  23. The Vortex, Pitty Pat's Porch, Mary Macs Tearoom just a few close by places.
