Vicious Growling Dog, Named Maximus, Shot To Death.
Stonewall replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
OK so Maximus was a black dog of African American decent? WTH is the wanna be Panther in the front of the video holding up a black power fist for? I want to ban all fist from government buildings and state funded properties because it is a sign of racism and hate. Besides it hurts my feelings. -
I have seen Haggard probably 8-10 times over the years but have not seen him since his lung cancer ordeal(he is in complete remission). His age is starting to show(78)and looked a little feeble when he walked on stage. However two songs in front of a really appreciative crowd the old troubadour seemed to lose twenty five years and began to smile. It was on then. The Strangers were, well, The Strangers. Still the best touring country band in the business and still lead by steel guitar/dobro legend Norm Hamlet with Merle's son Bennie handling the lead guitar. If you don't believe me ask the crit

The center of the Universe will switch to Buckhead tonight. Fourth row seats, Haggard. Have been going to his shows since the late 70's and I will admit I feel like a 14 yo girl at a Taylor Swift concert. I am a Haggard Freak.

Morgan Valley/Antioch is nice area. Collard Valley is a nice area. Knox Mountain nice. Fish Creek area is nice. Avoid City Limits of Rockmart or Aragon. Prospect Road is an exception to that rule. As mei lan said if the speed limit in Aragon says 35 do not drive 36. Hope this helps.

The absolute best in the State and maybe the Southeast is Lee Parks. He is in the Four Seasons downtown.

Both of my personal trucks are 4x4 (F-250 and F-350). I use mine in rural areas, often on grass or dirt and often hauling trailers so it works well for me. You don't need it until you need it. In his case it is a toss up. I don't know that he really needs one in an urban area or campus setting like you described. If it is icy (not snow) a 4x4 doesn't help that much anyway unless you have chains too and know how to drive. Now snow is different and a 4x4 is much better in the snow. Stay away from Yankee cars, they know everything, they are loud, they are rude, they won't shut the hell up and if

Many years ago Paul Harvey told a story about a gun fight. The officers were ambushed and out gunned. One of the officers dispatched a bad guy but was wounded and about to receive the coup de grass from the perpetrator. His partner attacked the perpetrator disarmed him but received a fatal gun shot in the process. The rest of the story. The second partner was a 90 pound German Shepard. They buried him with full honors, bagpipes, 21 gun salute, flag draped coffin. I still tear up when I think about it. You know how I know there is a God? I have seen him in my dogs eyes and heart.

Hey NC-17 not trying to predict anything but I do have some knowledge. My father died of EC in 1973. They have really made huge advances in treatment since then and I am sure everything will turn out all right. Please get a second opinion on every step along the way. Doctors are like imported beers some are really good and some suck. Wishing ya'll all the best.

It is a product of the me generation. If you are watching Johnny then I (parents) can do what I want to do. I have been watching the story about the two Florida 14 yo that are missing from the fishing boat. WTF 14 yo and taking a boat to the Bahamas to fish! They are most likely dead because mommy and daddy didn't want to say no. I mean they wouldn't be friends then. The freaking boat did not belong to the kids someones parents owned or originally bought the boat, paid for the gas and gave permission for them to go. I have fished most of my life and while I am not scared I rarely go more than

Before Ya Cuse Me; Are You Takin Money From Somebody Else?

It's a Bo Diddley cover but I like EC's version better. Great song. "You say I'm spending my money on other women, you taking money from someone else". Guess he told her. -

Now ya talkin some sense TP. Clapton is one of my favorites and a highly unappreciated bluesman. He does not get the respect (in traditional hard core blues circles) he deserves because he is British and white. Personally I think he is one of the best white blues singers out there (Greg Allman being the best). As for his skill with a guitar I think that goes without saying. I will put him up against anyone chopping heads including Bonamassa (sp) who I do not particularly care for that much. As for these rock cats that's not always playing, not enough soul. Clapton left that a long time ago to -
Yeah GD but they have a Fountain to maintain damn it. Think outside the box man.

Homeless folks in Dallas - Merchants Drive area
Stonewall replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have always given money or food to those "begging" on the roads or parking lots. That's not to say I give to everyone I see but I let my heart and common sense guide me. I have never had anyone turn down food or water in my experience. Earlier this year the older black man that stood on the 75/85 ramp downtown was run over and killed. About a month earlier I had given him a bottle of water as I went by and he was very appreciative and drank it like he was really thirsty. He lived under a freaking bridge I don't think he was making millions off of the cold hearted and self righteous. There wa- 82 replies

TP I saw that story when it aired on TV maybe Dateline or some similar news magazine show. Absolutely horrifying, something out of your worst nightmares.
