Police let a man go after beating man half to death
Stonewall replied to Randall1022's topic in RECENT TOPICS
OK here is the scoop. Before the OP edited the post this morning he/she said that the incident was at Stars and Strikes. Some guy beat the hell out of another guy. Used his head for a mop and his butt for a broom. Cops came sent Ronda Rousey to hospital. Then cops talked with bad ass Chuck Norris, high fives, sent him on his way no arrest made. Readers Digest version of original post. -
My Mother is 84 and wide open, she put out pine straw all day yesterday. Thank you God for this great blessing. Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms.

Texas school calls police for trying to buy lunch with $2 bill

If the residents had passed a SPLOST to fund currency identification this would not have happened. -
I will accept that as an explanation. I never go to the other forums. I do not recall the posts being overly political, no more so than any of the others on here, but at least you responded. The one I started today was about Cruz but I see that much more as current events that just happens to be involving a political candidate. By the way Floyd I need a trim this Friday I am going to the church social in Siler City.

Why have the last three topics I started disappeared from the board? Should I be expecting brown shirts at my door?

Need a Burn Barrel, 55 gallon drum with mo lid
Stonewall replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do not know the legalities but filling the neighborhood with burn barrel smoke is inconsiderate to say the least. There are landfills and companies for that. -
US News and WR ranks GA 21st nationally in high schools. The same source ranks the 100 top HS in GA. None are in Paulding. Grady HS, FREAKING GRADY HS ranks 83rd. I realize one source can be bias so I looked at every source I could find including the AJC and numerous private sources. I will not list them all. The highest I found GA was 14th the lowest 32nd. I did not find any PC HS in the top 100 on any list.

Yes GM on both accounts graduated with honors EPHS. Eagle Scout, straight A's, honors, AP, considered for valedictorian, perfect attendance 1-10 missed less than 5 days 1-12 all in Paulding system, grandmother former VP in Paulding system, book worm, nerd, marching band, ROTC, Zell Miller scholarship, scared to death of drugs/alcohol, Christian parents. I wanted to answer your questions not change the subject from the OP. VOTE NO on SPLOST. Hold the politicians to the same budget standards you have to live with. Make them spend the money the way you would if you were on a fixed incom

Totally disagree all taxes are bad. Yes some are necessary I understand that. You do not cure problems by throwing good money after bad. I pay plenty of taxes especially in the name of education. All you have to say is it is for the kids and every one goes beserk. "MY GOD IT IS FOR THE KIDS, IF YOU ARE AGINST IT YOU HATE KIDS". BS. I have no kids in the system and I pay out the wazoo for a pretty poor educational system that everyone just wants to throw money at with no results. I have a nephew who graduated last year at the very top of his class, third in fact. He attends KSU and is strugglin

I have a very simple rule when voting. If it is a tax I vote NO. I do not care how it is presented or packaged I vote NO.

Apathy is definitely part of why the entire country is in turmoil. Poor promotion is also part of it the only announcement I say was on here. In my case I made up my mind when the candidate list came out. Plus I get up by 5 am everyday my business is busting at the seams and I am working seven days a week to keep up Weds. night is not a viable option for me.

3-year-old killed in accidental shooting in Paulding County
Stonewall replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good ideas but WSB describes the handgun as a small semi-automatic. Of course if you had done like Putsy said in his really out of touch post you should just have a sharp stick hid in a closet of course. Don't underestimate a feather duster when a geeked up meth head breaks in your house when your wife or child is at home alone. -
What's going to be where the old Swaffords gas station was?

The Georgia Peach, Darlenes Pizza, Scotts and Phat Phils pretty much covers it. -
That's a good one.

Fair enough. Google Tom Petty if you want to see real "rage against the machine". Think this may be where the "messiah" Prince got the idea. Bob Dylan said Tom is a great poet and songwriter. Nuff Said.
-
Fair enough but that is not a very hard thing to do. 99% of the halftime shows are really bad. Not really my style of music but I liked Prince just don't get the over the top media coverage. BTW The chick thing was not meant to be taken seriously.
-
Fair enough. Must be a chick thing.

I totally agree, my guess is PC because of the whole androgynous sex thing and that he is a minority. Merle Haggard was much more influential, prolific, over many more years than Prince. But Hag was not the PC prototype he actually represented everything the media/PC crowd hates. Hard living, patriotic, heterosexual, white, god fearing, unapologetic, beer drinking, redneck, country music icon. He was also a musical genius and very good musician. Hag was actually pretty liberal on some issues like legalization of weed. David Bowie and Glen Frey were also prolific and very talented in their own

None of the 78 are listed as being in Georgia. Online shopping is pounding the retail store business model. Personally I shop about 75% online. The K-Mart brand seems to be little more than an Albatross to Sears.

I keep a pretty low profile on the airport subject even though I probably live closer to it than most of you on here. I am anti-commercial but pro successful general aviation. It really baffles me that the pro side cannot separate quality of life issues from anti business issues. Just because I do not want commercial service, traffic, noise, questionable characters, pollution, etc. does not quantify me as anti business. The areas directly adjacent to HJ Airport are cesspools of vacant businesses, low rent apartments and crack houses not thriving vibrant neighborhoods. I have work around that a

I agree except isn't that what the Austell rail yard does? Just asking.
