Allatoona High School Football May Have Cheated
Stonewall replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
On the surface it appears the coaches, staff and pretty much all the players knew these two were there illegally. What kind of message is this sending? It is ok to cheat or disobey the rules of society as long as it benefits you? Yes it goes on elsewhere and has for years but so has extortion, identity theft, DV, child abuse you name it. I guess because it has a history of occurring it is ok to sweep it under the rug. I have no dog in the fight but wrong is wrong and right is right in my simple mind. There should be consequences. This is why I have no hope for the country. Dumbass, white trash, skank, non productive, baby factory, POS has the same right to vote as I do. So will her little monster. Well I mean until he is a felon which may be before he is 18 anyway. Yes they both need their butts spanked (like she hasn't by every man the in the county) but not going to happen in PC world. That picture is disturbing at so many levels I cannot start to explain. Where is baby daddy? He obviously isn't much of a man either.

Seriously, we shot down a CDL Licensing Facility in Paulding?

Does not sound like a very sound investment of tax dollars but I don't know all the details. Personally not against it if it produces return of investment. -
What's going to be where the old Swaffords gas station was?

He did not get the original asking price but did o.k. The lot is small and weird shaped so I do not see out parcel space available although graders can do wonders. I see Doug every now and then he is doing well. No the cat is still in the bag, Everyone will know soon. -
I am devastated. I have stated many times that I am a Haggard freak. I have been lucky enough to see him live around a dozen times. Saw him last summer and he looked bad. Voice good, picking good but physically bad. It is just my opinion but there are five really original great songwriters in American history. Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, John Prine and Townes Van Zant. Of those three are folk singers and two are country. Most consider Hank as the best of the lot. I love Hank but Haggard has always been at the top of my list. He wrote, arranged, played, sang as good as anyone who e

Sorry I don't know of one for sale right now but the Pilot is an excellent vehicle. We have one with 180k on it and the biggest expense has been a preventative timing belt change at 120k which was my choice. I would not hesitate to drive it to the west coast and back without any concerns. We are looking at getting another one either a 2016 or 2017.

An absolute tragedy of human errors starting with Southern Airways failure to alert the crew about up to the minute current weather conditions. I will not disparage the cockpit crew who made a heroic effort to save the flight but if you watch the film make your own conclusions about some of their judgments. I do not doubt the skill of the first officer he flew the hell out of a dead aircraft. I am just sorry that was his only option. The DC-9 is an outstanding short flight passenger plane with a great take off/landing to accident ratio.

I have defended construction projects on here before. There is no magic wand. Construction takes time. However I have never defended incompetence which appears to be the case in Hiram. Some one needs to step up and get this project completed. It is a complete boondoggle some one needs to be held accountable.

I generally prefer pie over cake. Is cheese cake a pie or a cake?

My carrier is consistent. She is here between 9 am and 6 pm six days a week. I don't understand how running the same route everyday her time varies by as much as 8 hours. I realize there are heavier mail days but this is everyday all year long.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Some people apparently want progress, want easy access, want reduced traffic, want shopping centers but want someone to wave a magic wand and presto the project is done. I do not go through there (61 & Nebo) a lot but I do go through there. The project is actually going pretty well and pretty quick. If you live on 61 or near an intersection maybe you should have thought about the possibility of expansion before you moved on a major county highway. This is what you get with population explosion , progress some call it. I would be happy if 61 was a di

The appointment of a SCOTUS justice is way more crucial to the future of the country and more relevant to everyday life than almost any other decision made by the POTUS. I am not opposed to having the hearings but rubber stamping a justice is the worst move either side could make. The last ass hat they sat is a joke. Nothing but political correctness no more qualified for the job than the POSPOTUS we are about to be relived of. -
Pubby, Do You Have an Endorsement for BOC chairman?
Stonewall replied to michaelsudan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know Roger and I know Bill. No thanks. I do not know Virginia or Robbie. Most of what I hear about Virginia is not flattering and what I hear about Robbie is good but not very detailed. My issue with David is the bed he chose to lie in while on the BOC along with some of his comments on the videos. Hope there is some clarity concerning Robbie because three of these have proven themselves (not in a good way) in the past and one needs a good PR clean up man. JMO at this time. -
Chicken Feet... Chicken Claws... I NEED SOME!
Stonewall replied to Caped Crusader's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Some of the animal parts we consider weird or freaky were originally eaten in this country out of necessity. There was a time not so long ago that there were no Krogers, Sam's Clubs or food stamps. If you were on a hard scrabble farm with ten kids, which was not unusual, you did not waste any meat that you could manage to come across. This is the reason everything on a pig/cow/chicken is eaten or used. Head, brain, intestines, stomach, snout, ears, feet, testicles, well you get the picture. Of course other cultures have other reasons for some of their dietary choices but almost always it goes -

I knew Louise for close to forty years she was a real sweet lady. I hope her and Crafton, Sr. are finally reunited. They were both good people and always treated me like family. God Bless and RIP sweet lady. -
You know this is part of the reasoning that I consider myself a conservative but struggle with the two party system. I am not aligned with any particular party but I do try to stay with the party that most closely mirrors my core beliefs. I usually vote republican (like 99%). I am an avid hunter/fisherman/conservationists and my biggest conflicts with the republicans is on environmental issues. Fracking is a bad idea. Common sense tells me pumping hydraulic fluid under high pressure into the ground will contaminate the ground water at some point. Much as you have to be in denial if you think a

Saw Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent last night at Milltowne. Gene was good, did all his hits performed about an hour and a half. His voice was not great last night but still good. Not off key but just not a lot of power. Probably just age he has been at it a long time. Rhonda Vincent was very good. She has won female vocalist of the year in a bluegrass band like eight times and pretty much every other award in that genre. Her band Rage is very good. They play traditional bluegrass style, no amps, no pick ups on the instruments just microphone amplified. They are a seven piece group with two fla

Good question Captain Butler. States rights versus Federal rights. Where have I heard that. Seems like our nation had a little discussion about that around 1861-1865.

Awe Shucky Ducky, Herman makes me laugh. I would like to buy him a beer (I don't think he drinks). Seems like a real good guy, but not presidential material. I still like him though. JMO.
