  1. Speak with the Media Center if you still have concerns. It will be a few days yet though, if they were due today. They will have to get someone in to go over each order, one by one, make sure the orders add up and equal the $$. It generally takes a couple of days for that, then the deposits can be sent in. I know it seems like it takes forever, but it truly is a timely process.
  2. That story was on Snapped again last week. Her MIL and husband died from it, too. The boys didn't wana die suffeing like they had watched their dad. Part of her sentence was she could never be a primary caregiver again..then a couple years later..her youngest (and only living child) started displaying symptoms. Very heartbreaking for her. It is a HORRIBLE disease. I can't fathom folks being so cruel. I have to agree, there are no words to adequately describe this family. Ohh sure they are sorry now. Now that their own actions are coming back onto them. Now that it is affecting THEIR c
  3. SO true. I drive a bus and love my kids, my co-workers, and my job, BUT this is going to hurt us badly. It's a shame that my 18 yr old works in a grocery store and has better insurance than I do as a county employee. Her dental plan alone for a family will be $60 cheaper per month and way better coverage. Her vision is $30 cheaper and just a little better. Since when do grocery chains beat state insurance plans??? Don't think I haven't discussed a change with my husband. The only thing that has kept me from it is I would miss my kids on the bus dearly and I love being home when my perso
  4. I can not believe I had not heard about who this was before now. She is a friend of my sons. Many thoughts and prayers going out to the family that they are both found safe.
  5. JUst because the driver was not ticketed does not mean insurance won't pay. My hubs was in a car accident almost 15 years ago. The other driver was not ticketed. He wound up in the hospital for a week. Her insurance company paid all of his medical bills, plus a few dollars for his pain and suffering. We did have to get an attorney to have them pay.
  6. This is the first I have even heard about it. I hope they are home, safe and sound.
  7. I read alot of the posts, but skimmed over the last 10 or so. I just have to say that Sam Clark is an awesome person. I do not know him personally. I only know how he treated my husband's grandmother before (and when) she passed and the treatment his EMTS have given other family members. When "Granny" was alive, she had angina attacks often. WE never knew if it was truly angina or a heart attack. 8 times out of 10 Sam was personally on the call. (We are talking 18 or so years ago.) He would come in and the first thing he did was check on "Ms LoraBell". He was ALWAYS very caring and
  8. Greg will be greatly missed! He was such a kind and caring man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and co-workers.
  9. My daughter always has to grab some when we're at Dollar Tree. You can't neat a buck. =) When all of my children were younger, I would mix cheerios, raisins, salted peanuts, and M&M's. Now, we just nibble out of this bag and munch out of that bag...
  10. Can anyone enlarge those pics from the website about it? I can't make out any features on them and I am not computer savy AT ALL! Thanks!!
  11. Hahahaha, that's EXACTLY what I do! Only difference is mine comes from LaCocina. They have the best chips I have ever eaten. LaParilla is my second choice though.
  12. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. That's not very popular with alot of parents, but I do believe you hit that nail square on the head. Now don't start bashing, everyone has the right to raise their children how they want to and I'll raise mine how I see fit. I have not raised my children in the time out, "not my kid" way. I get down to the bottom of it and will tear that tail up, if need be. My children are no angels, they make mistakes just like everyone does. But it is my job to make sure they can admit when they are wrong, learn from those mistakes, and that they KNOW there are consequences t
  13. I can not speak for the mechanical aspects, but a school bus should NEVER be going 60, on an interstate or otherwise. 55 is the max speed allowed, 45 max if picking up/dropping off students. ETA..I wasn't being snarky, if that's how it came off. =)
  14. Try a bath with vinegar. You can also use a washcloth soaked with vinegar water, like a compress. If you have some aloe, that may help.
  15. We rode around the backside into Riverwood and couldn't really tell what it was either.
  16. LOL Maybe they thought you were a little too stressed and just tryign to help you out.
  17. Hopefully this was just an older gentleman who was needing to know where the new courthouse is at and not up to anything sinister.
  18. If that is the same Busbee that used to be at Wyant, Steinechen, Webb, and Busbee by Kennestone..He is FABULOUS! That's the only name that stood out for me. Good luck! ETA: I looked it up and he appears to be one and the same! One of the very few male docs I feel comfortable with after a bad experience with a male doc when I was 18 and expecting my first child.
  19. If it is possibly an ulcer, you may want to switch to Tylenol instead of ibuprofen. Ibuprofen can agrravate stomach issues. I hope you get to feeling better!
  20. Some of us talk smack over EVERY football game, not just high school.
  21. It may have been cheaper if they're still running the 50 pc special. Then you could get 10 sauces..right? They never charge me for sauces and I don't normally get nuggets. We just like to use the BBQ and Honey mustard for fries. I have found that the Crossroads location is easier to deal with issues like this than the Dallas location, also. Maybe that's why I don't get charged for them. ETA..I know Zaxby's charges for extra sauce, also. As my son says.."I am a dipper"..lol
  22. THanks for the update. I saw her cart in front of the car lot Saturday night, but didn't see her anywhere and was concerned. The way I see it, EVERYONE needs some love and compassion. I love my "Hey Baby" when I see her around town.
  23. Now they have it off of Hwy 61 North. The addy is 724 Paulding Meadows Drive Dallas, GA 30132.
