Hit and run on 278 at Seaboard. The person was caught on Macland by an Atlanta Police Officer. It's in the archives..5:50 -??. I pulled it up when 3 sheriff's cars flew by my house with sirens blaring.

Go to the AmeriGroup website. They should list providers in your area. There is a place on Hwy 41 in Cartersville (near Ryans) that used to accept it, but I'm not certain if they still do. I think it was EyeWorks, I can't swear to it though.

So this is why I am still shaking from thinking I was gonna be run down in New Hope? lol I heard the sirens and automatically looked for red lights, didn't see any...looked to see if they were coming up behind me..nope. I go through the light and 2 SO's were coming around the right side of cars stopped at the red light on EP Drive..scared the begeezers outta me. Glad they got the guy, another great job!!

The world lost one of the most precious people I ever had the pleasure of having for a best friend for the last 12 years on Friday. She will be greatly missed and a piece of my heart goes with her. There will never be another on this earth who can fill the void that is left in my life and the life of my family. Please continue to lift this family in your prayers. Only the grace and strength from God is going to get them and us through this. She leaves behind a husband who cherished her for more than 20 years and 3 teenaged children that are hurting and wanting their Momma right now.

Yes, they definitely can get away sometimes. My twins used to double team me..lol One would be getting in something somewhere, while I'm getting them out of that, the other one would be trying to unlock the door. I think they made it out the door a time or two before we figured out what was going on and learned to corral them both with me while taking care of stuff.

I just got in and was listening to scanner and catching up on what I missed..dispatch just told an officer that DFACS was on land line and wanted to kno what the request was in reference to and if they needed to bring car seats...Is this not resolved yet? Please tell me it's something else, another case...

Tinkerbell, I have to second everything you have said about this young man. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a friend's house (her daughter was very close to him). This has come as a tremendous shock to everyone. Thank you for the info on the services. We will keep the friends and family in our thoughts and prayers. My daughter took the news of his death very bad and I think it's probably best for us not to attend.
