  1. Nope. I am the heaviest I have EVER been, except when I was expecting my first child. I don't think I even got this heavy with the twins. It's not that I think I am gross looking or anything like that, just not comfortable being this size. I just need to make myself watch my diet better, after all I am no longer 20 something. An exercise plan would work wonders, too. I will eventually get back to where I wanna be. I don't wanna Tonk your topic so I won't share hubby's thoughts on it...lol
  2. I'm the funny one around my house. I do not eat cold pizza, chicken, boiled eggs, or potato salad. I prefer my fruits (watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, nectarines) and veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes) at room temp, also. I know..they tell me enough..I'm just not right.
  3. I have to agree. When my son was in kindergarten he developed an infection under his eye lid. These doctors did a GREAT job with him.
  4. On the very rare occasion that I have a drink, it is one of the two. 1 shot of crown 1 shot of orange juice pour these over ice in a glass, then top with cranapple juice OR 1 shot absolute vodka 1 shot peach schnappes *sp?* over a glass of ice then equal thirds to top off glass of orange juice pineapple juice red hawaiian punch
  5. There are actually a few things that have been passed down to me that mean the world to me. It may not seem like much, but there are so many memories wrapped up in most of them..that's what makes them sooo special to me. My most prized..My Gommie gave me a round pillow when I was 13-14. I still sleep with that pillow every night, even though it's been over 20 years. That pillow was cried on when she passed on when I was 16. That pillow has been to the hospital with me when I had all 4 of my kids. My 2nd most prized...My Granny's bread pan. She would always put her biscuits an
  6. There used to be a do it yourself place in Acworth, by sav-a-lot (off Main Street). Culps was the name, I think. they will tell you how to mix and spray. I second what someone else said. It's the home owner's responsibility. We rent and our land lord has this place sprayed every 3 months, religiously. If we have an issue with anything, he (the exterminator) will propose a solution and if that doesn't work, he tells us to give him a call. When he sprays, he sprays inside and out, every time. The spray doesn't smell and doesn't harm our little ( 8 pounder) inside dog. Our kids are a
  7. Is Thommy still working at EPD? We lived there several years ago and he would come through patroling and stop and play ball with the kids. They all looked forward to him having the time to stop. BTW, Everyone knows to put the brakes on coming through Emerson..lol You dudes don't play!!
  8. nacho dip (velveeta, salsa, and browned ground beef..throw it in the crock pot on low and let it melt) bbq meatballs (roll your meat into balls, brown, drain, cover in bbq sauce and simmer..I put mine in the crockpot on low until we are ready to eat them) cheese cubes and olives with crackers stove top smores if you have a gas stove Thats about all my mind can come up with right now. Have fun!!
  9. I also voted above average. I was taught to worry more about how others are driving than yourself. I am constantly scanning around me...my mirrors, roadways coming into the road I am on, which idiot is switching lane to lane almost hitting other cars coming up behind me, etc.. I can not stand being stuck being a large vehicle that I can't see around. It makes me feel trapped. I HAVE to be able to see what I'm going in to. I drive a school bus. I have to really watch other vehicles then. Folks seem to like nothing better than to pull out in front of a bus. C'mon folks, we really cant s
  10. There is a dental clinic in cobb that charges according to your income. I can't think of the name at the moment, you might try to search it. An old neighbor and a co-worker used him. I do know the 1st visit is more expensive because of x-rays.
  11. I was using my Tyson Q's at Ingle's last week and a gentleman came up to me and told me he couldn't help but notice the chicken and started telling about about them and how good their meats were. We wound up in a conversation about it. I love their stuff, but can't pass up paying $1 a pound for chicken tenders, especially when I'm feeding a family of 6 plus whatever extras the kids drag in. I have stocked up there with their specials many times though!
  12. http://www.mcg.edu/sod/ Since the graduation of its first class in 1973, the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry - the State‘s sole dental school and one of only 56 in the entire United States
  13. Homemade BBQ pork (roast cooked for about 15 hours, then slow baked with bbq sauce after pulling it for an hour and half) and fries, with Kosher Claussan pickles..yumm!
  14. Umm, valium for both of you? lol j/k My daughter was 13 when she had her tonsils and adenoids taken so I don't have much advice, I'm sorry. By then, she was more than happy to lay around and watch TV or play ont he computer. You might try downloading some age appropriate games on the PC. When my kids were younger we used kidsdomain.com. I don't even know if they are still around or not. They had some cool keyboard banger programs wayyyy back when I used them. I wish you the best of luck, speedy recovery, and for the activity restriction time period to go by fast.
  15. I wish we had our old scanpaulding.com back. I can't pull up radio reference on my AOL, I have to open IE for it. It crashes me out every time I try. I know alot of folks think AOL is just bunk, but I have used it for so many years that it is what I am comfortable with.
  16. Who will be fighting? I LOVE me a good fight, it's almost as good as a good football game. My hubs and kids think I'm crazy though when I start screaming at the TV. When a fights on, I'm jabbing and jumping. LOL
  17. Staples just e-mailed me a preview of next week's ad. They will have a lot of notebooks on sale for some great prices.
  18. My son did this for a while and enjoyed it. Awesome program!!
  19. God bless you, your dad, and the rest of your family.
  20. Dang, is it just me or does he get sexier every day? Awesome song.
  21. I can't remember what ratio I used to mix mine, I haven't been much of a drinker for YEARS. I used to put mine in Jello Jiggler molds. I had a bunch of Nascar ones at one time that folks loved. The thing with Jigglers though is to use half the liquid as for regular Jello prep.
  22. My fave is Golden Flake Thin & Crispy Sour Cream and Onion, but I can't find them anymore. Second is plain Golden Flake or Wise Naturals. Oldest daughter switches regularly..this week is cheddar and jalapeno cheetos. My 3 other kids aren't picky and neither is hubs.
  23. It is located at the by pass of Hwy 381 and Hwy 61, in the forks of the road. There used to be a computer place, Computer Buddy, located there. It's on 61, if you're going from the post office towards the old courthouse, it's on your right in the curve. Hope that helps.
  24. Season Passes are $59.99 plus tax. Mine came out to around $63 each. If you do the season passes, I would suggest paying for a season parking pass on your first trip. Parking each time is $15-$20, a season parking pass is only $45. We went Thursday and had a blast!! The longest the kids waited to ride was on Goliath, and then only about 45 min- an hour. We waited about 10 minutes for Thunder River and about 20 for Splashwater Falls. Daughter was in and out of Batman within 30 minutes, same with Mindbender. The longest wait appeared to be the new Monster Mansion, which we bypassed b
