We all know if this knock out game was being done by whites selecting blacks as their victims, those whites would be accused of being racists and people would be demanding they be charged with hate crimes. If whites were doing that to blacks, I would certainly accuse them of racism as well and expect them to be charged with hate crimes. Now tell me how that is backwards.

I think this study is a crock of sheeze. My siblings and I received spankings while children and none of us engaged in criminal behavior. My children were spanked while growing up and none of them grew up to engage in criminal behavior. I was in my first grade classroom in Fayetteville, NC when it was announced over the intercom system the president was dead. I remember my teacher sobbing. At that age, we couldn't understand what it meant.

It's these regulations and legislation that have forced many companies to move their manufacturing overseas in order to remain profitable.

It's a real shame our country is in this current economic state. What we need to see take place in this country is real job growth to lower the unemployment rate and only the private sector can do that. We need a government that will partner with the private sector instead of one that seeks to destroy it to force people to become dependent upon the government. The real warfare in this country is not class warfare, but political warfare as both parties seek nothing more than to be more powerful than the other.

I work as a project manager for a very large company. I'm hiring and firing people weekly. I'm firing people because they show up and won't work or they put very little effort into it and don't meet established standards. These are mostly entry level jobs. I'm authorized to give workers who meet or exceed standards pay raises, but so far I have fired more people than I have given raises.

Teachers in ND are not paid by the state; they are paid by the school district where they work and this is common in many states. These school districts base salary upon budget, which is established by the school board and based upon the school tax they generate. They pay their teachers what they can afford. I watched the video and I noted some of those speaking stating the issue should remain a local issue and they are right.
