I saw a special on Jesse James recently. I was unaware his crime spree was reportedly a result of his time serving in the Civil War.

I have had the pleasure hearing Wade sing and perform on stage numerous times. What a talent. Not only is he an extremely talented young man he is one of the nicest and polite young people around. In a time where it is a "ME" generation Wade is very humble. He seems to be very grounded. Great job Mom and Dad. I congratulate Wade and know he will have a great experience. It shows you reap what you sow and he has definitely paid his dues. One of the very first times I heard Wade was several years ago at a Cancer fundraiser at Paulding Meadows. I've known of or seen him at numerous charity events

I am not a Paulding County native but moved here years and years ago. There is a restaurant downtown that I have heard about almost since Day 1 but have never tried. I believe the name of it is Joan's? From what I understand they have home cooked vegetables and really good breakfast. Can anyone confirm? If they have good breakfast what time do they serve it? I hate that most places quit serving breakfast at 10AM. I sometimes love having a late breakfast having it for lunch but the only options around here that I am aware of are IHOP or Waffle House. Any information is appreciated.

I am confused. What seal are y'all talking about? I don't know that I have ever noticed a seal. Exactly where is it located and what is the purpose of it? I will look for it next time. I always chose the credit option so not to have my money "held". Used to it would take $1.00 out of my account immediately and it would take a couple of days for the total to come out of my account. But lately it is deducted immediately. Not sure why the change.

Tallatoona tends to be out of funds more time than not. I don't mean to come across as negative or putting down the agency because I am not. It is just they get limited funds and there are SO many people needing assistance the monies don't last long. More so these days than ever before.

My rule of thumb is to ALWAYS stop for a funeral possession. The only exception is a 4-lane road separated by a median and the procession is in the opposite lanes. Plain old fashion RESPECT for the dead. There is nothing that irks me worse than seeing cars passing the hearse and procession. Folks here in Paulding County seem to think if they slow down and creep on by it is acceptable. NOT!

I have heard of more gall bladder removal surgeries in the last 6 months than ever before. From what I hear it is so much worse before the surgery than after. A good friend had an attack, spent 6 hrs in the ER on a Sunday night in the middle of flu season and the following day had it removed. Three days later he went home. Sore but much better shape than he went in.

I am a happily married HETEROSEXUAL but I do NOT want to see a man and woman making out either. SO BE IT! I once said in counseling with my heterosexual child that the thought of her making love with her partner grossed me out. ABSOLUTELY!! NO ONE would chose to be treated the way gays and lesbians are treated. Not all of them are "in your face" and flaunt their sexual preference.. Those who believe it is a CHOICE should take the time to do the research and get educated before just talking out of their homophobic biased mouths.

The problem is not with the word marriage. It is with the people who think the problem is with the word marriage. Why would a loving, committed couple want a "civil union"? It is the principle of the thing. If you are sick of hearing about it turn the channel or the tv off. That is YOUR RIGHT! IMO the GOVERNMENT: Federal AND State should stay OUT OF IT! No one should be banned from being able to MARRY the person they love.
