I thought it was state law and mandatory that servers in restaurants were paid $2,13/hr plus their tips? I recently heard that some servers make only what they are paid in tips? Is this legal? Sure doesn't seem like it should be especially when a restaurant offers lunch specials for $5. It would be hard to make much at all if they are not earning a base pay?

I don't think the commerce directory is anything close to being accurate. I know several businesses who are current members and post regularly but are not listed in the directory. Maybe Tender Loving Pet Grooming didn't renew their biz membership but haven't been removed as a member? I wish you would let us in on who stood you up, too, Bloniega1 and Papi!

I am a regular customer at The Dugout and LOVE the food. and the service has always been above par. No complaints. However, I suggest you give your customers a "check". It is the only restaurant I go to that I do not get a check and I have NO idea what I am paying for. Yes, I can look on the wall and figure it out but why should I have to? Maybe it's just me but I just find it a bit odd that the owner totals it on a check but never gives the check to the customer? I hope you take this as it is intended: a suggestion and not being mean or ugly.

Yeah, I don't like the cinnamon taste to the fries either so I order them without the seasoning. I assume some folks do like it since he continues to use it. But, I like my sweet AFTER my dinner. But, I do like the new home style cut fries much better than what he used to have.
