SO TRUE!! There was something on the news the other night that was SO insignificant I told my SO "and we need to know that WHY?" It was something that not only was I interested in hearing it really was NONE of my business. I often wonder, too, how some are so lucky to be on the news? You know there are probably thousands of people arrested in metro ATL on a daily basis. BUT. You turn on the 11:00 news and there is YOUR mug shot for a minor offense.

OMGOSH AIMEE!!! Yes, it is nice the community has rallied around the family and Aimee. But, her Dad has a blog and people who really want to know can follow that. And, llke I said I can understand an update a couple of times a day but every day, every news cast is over kill.

I know I am going to be attacked for saying this, but WHY do we have to get a daily update on Aimee Copeland in EVERY newscast? My heart goes out to her and I really feel badly for what has happened to her. Initially I was anxious to hear every update and of her progress in beating death. But this has been going on for weeks and every local channel talks about her every time the news comes on. I can understand a couple of times a week but it is beginning to get old. Shane's is VERY good and I am glad to hear this. The closest one now is in Cobb County over at Mars Hill. My favorite is their smothered BBQ sandwich that has cole slaw on it. eym_sirius you are right about people changing and saying things when they get older they wouldn't say in their earlier years. I never gave it much thought although I've seen it happen over the years. NO it would not work. Being gay is NOT a choice nor it is a "lifestyle" and you could pray to be gay but if it is not in your DNA you are not going to be gay. I don't know anyone who would "want" to be and pray to be gay. No one would wish the torment, name calling, etc on themselves IF they had a choice. WOW!! I have heard a lot of stories like this where the property sold for MUCH less than it was a few short years ago. But,recently I've heard the market is turning around to be more of a seller's market than a buyer's.
