Yes.....my husband told me this ... He goes to Marietta Diner each Tues AM for a classic car breakfast group.

We heard that the son of the owner of The Marietta Diner has now bought a restaurant not far from Hiram. I cant remember if it is THE CROSSROADS TAVERN OR Cedarcrest Tavern and Grille ... I know they are both sort of near Seven Hills area...but we want the one that is tied to owner of Marietta Diner. Can anyone help me out here ? We were going to try it this evening for dinner. I am babysitting our 5 month old granddaughter a few days a week...and WE NEED A CRIB at our house. I already have the Pack And Play...she's getting too big for that. Looked in Good Will today and called two thrift stores in Dallas. NO USED CRIBS . Might anyone HERE in this forum know someone who has a used baby crib to sell ? Of course I would want it to work and have the necessary parts.... We live in Hiram-- almost in Powder Springs. THANKS VERY MUCH.

I would love a PANERA BREAD IN HIRAM. YES..I know there is one at Avenues of WEST COBB... but still would love one here in HIRAM... WE often....several times a week get coffee at Racetrac..(CLeburne Pkwy intersection.) I like their Hazelnut. Not the same as a coffee shop.....but since we are so limited here....that's where we go.

Well....this was a vacant place for almost a year after BIRDIES closed. Then BUDS opened. We ate there twice...it is close to us. NOW ..we see it is CLOSED... JUST LIKE THAT. Anyone know what happened THIS TIME ????

Quite a while ago.....someone DID tell my hubby that in indoor shooting range was to be built around here...close to our development. NOW.....he is thinking that's what is being built there.... rather than a bank. He THINKS... THANKS... Too many churches in Paulding County for an adult book store ! ! ! Of course...that MAY BE in COBB county.. we are very close to the county line.

COULD VERY WELL BE A BANK. Hubby just reminded me that the other small bank..on corner of Poplar Springs..and 278 is now CLOSED. He thinks that's because of the new bypass and hopefully a revised intersection..a SAFER one ...to be made.. hopefully....by Racetrac and Cleburne.

My hubby just said it LOOKED like it MIGHT be a dollar store. Then he thought...a Walgreens.....or a bank.... We really are just curious.....live very close by.

On 278 just out of Hiram-- going toward Powder Springs... almost to Florence Road.... There is a new plaza and then -a stand alone building-- of some sort currently under construction. My husband says not many windows in it....he was wondering if it's a Dollar Store or something . DOES anyone know what that is being built there ??? We moved here from New York STATE about 21 months ago. OUR vet is DR Wendy Meeker at Hiram Animal Hospital...( Rt 92 ) I like her a lot. We also board our dog there when we travel...he's been boarded there 3 times and has no qualms or anxiety about going in the door. OUR dentist is Dr Stevens at Lee Family Dentistry .and I like him. I think ALL dentists are expensive ..so cant comment on that issue ! THIS BOARD has been very helpful to me when I have had questions.

It's been rumored for years......but this guy is someone who cares about people,..he's very very smart...and who cares what he does behind closed doors. He's a very private person. We moved here from New York State 20 months ago. Livie in Hiram....around corner from New Aldi's. We cannot FIND a place close by that makes what we consider good Chinese food at all. Egg rolls nothing like the ones we got back in New york State. Sauces even a bit different. We have tried 3 Chinese places....that are close by. One Imperial Palace as you leave Hiram. One place on Macland road where the Kroger is... and one place on Florence road and 278 near the Waffle House.

Day after Mothers Day we are driving to Tunica for the FIRST time. I know we go to Birmingham on I 20. I have two questions . 1 Anyone know the currently used ROUTE number to look for from Birmingham to Tunica ? 2. ALSO....are there rest areas on that route from BIRMINGHAM to TUNICA or do you just have to get off in some dinky town and use a gas station ? (I have to use bathroom more than the average person ) THANKS for your help.
