------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yes..that is not a very safe intersection. The Racetrac..Cleburne Parkway ..Poplar Springs Rd. We live on Poplar Springs Rd..so we are at this intersection several times a week. I am assuming that when they finish the Bill Carruth Parkway thing...forgot the new name.. it will connect to Cleburne...as a bypass....that the lights will have turning arrows then. JUST in the last two weeks they have been going like hell a fire on the new ALDI. W

WE have eaten there 2 or 3 times since last August . Hubby belongs to a classic car group Georgia Classic Rides and they have a dinner here once a month . The back room. Food is good..but with a party in the back room of at least 20 people each time the service has been very very slow. Im speaking of Thursdays ..that's when the group meets.

We often go to Ingles for certain items...easy to get in and the parking lot is never too crowded. We think Ingles has very very nice looking meat. West Metro Meat Market is very close to Ingles. and we have purchased meat there several times...same with Ingles. I think BOTH those stores have better meat than KROGER. West Metro has a Facebook Page where they post their weekly specials every Tuesday. They are closed on Mondays. Very friendly people in there. We are not far from Macland Road in Hiram..so on Wednesdays - for majority of regular grocery purchases we use the Macl

There is one weakness I have.... I like chicken wings....and back in New York State there were quite a few places to choose from when it came to wings. REALLY GOOD WINGS. We have cut way back on how often we have them ...to the point of NOW...only having them about 3 times a year. That's it. So when we get them ..we want them to be perfect ! I do not like them BREADED...... We had found some good wings at BIRDIES in Hiram...but that just closed up last month. I do not want to go to Hooters for their wings. Does anyone know where we can find UNBREADED good wings in Hiram or Dal

GOOD home cooking place for nice, fresh veggies and grilled food. I am a very large woman and am so tired of not being able to find "healthy" options when eating out. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well thank you . I totally agree with you. That is what I am seeking around here...so it's not too far to drive. A place where there is a good salad bar...FRESH quality produce on the bar. I love salads...green salads with chicken or some lean sirloin steak on it. I try v

"People in this economy dont nessessarily have the money to eat at Einsteins or Panera. " Hubby and I are retired...not affluent. But once a week we would like to be able to go to Einsteins for a good cup of coffee and one of their great bagels. Panera..I like their soups and salads....and we would eat there for dinner....more often if one was here in Hiram or Dallas. We go out to dinner the two of us...usually each Saturday night. Whenever you drive down the length of Rt 278 on nearly ANY night of the week....every single one of those chain restaurants has a full parking

Oh...We did learn about PROVINOS and SCALINIS. Our son was married in October and his WONDERFUL rehearsal dinner was at Provino's in CANTON. Wonderful servce...and wonderful food..but what a drive for us from HIRAM to get THERE. We do not like all the terrible traffic around here...I dont anyway..makes me nervous. Hubby doesnt mind TOO much. We went to Scalinis on Cobb Parkway in April for hubbys birthday. Our son lives not far from there .... MORE GREAT FOOD. ABSOLUTELY. I am getting hungry right now.

HI to you from Long Island !! We spent 60 years living in Elmira, NY right on the PA border and about 5 hours west of New York City. Everyone thinks if you're from NY that you must have lived in the CITY !! HAHA...New York State has 16 million people and only 7 million of them live in New York CITY. AND of course...2 million live in LONG ISLAND,

SORRY I am not too savy when it comes to using these message boards. Im just a really old lady..so didn't do a search about my question before I posted it. Forgive me ? Oh I was just doing some wishful thinking . I know about the Panera's on Dallas Highway...would just love a coffee shop in HIRAM..so would not have to DRIVE over to Dallas Highway. We had Einsteins' in Florida and loved it. I also was told about the OLIVE TREE in Hiram..but somebody told me they liked the one in Villa Rica better. I dont remember why though !! THANKS FOR THE REPLIES..I APPRECIATE IT.

We moved here about 16 months ago from New York State..to Hiram. We have been hearing for months now that an Olive Garden was coming to Hiram. BUT we see no construction for it anywhere. Does anyone know the scoop on that ? ALSO.....BIRDIES closed...near the Racetrac ...Anyone know why that closed. We went there about once a month. I would love to see An Einstein Bagels shop or else a Panera Bread here. Would love it. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
