  1. Will it be visible this far south?
  2. I hate when a man announces "We're preganant!" No. You. Are. Not! She's preganant! Or "we're building a house". Unless your out there personally with a hammer and nails, WE are NOT building a house. The contractor and the workman are building a house!
  3. About dang time that girl woke up. When someone shows you who they are, believe them......the FIRST time.
  4. I'm not saying the customer wasn't wrong. I work retail and I can tell you the customer IS NOT always right. However, they are still the customer. I COMPLETELY agree with taking responsiblitly for your own actions and I personally DON'T think Lowe's should be responsible, but I wonder if they could have handled it better and salvaged a customer.
  5. May not have been Lowe's fault, but it would have been good customer service to pay the bill. Just saying.
  6. Open a checking account in YOUR name only without his knowlegde. BB&T will let you open one with as little as $25. Start funding it anyway you can. Buy groceries, get money back to fund your account. Build you an "escape" fund, cause your gonna need it. Bring in family and friends to help you with the logistics of moving and whatever other support you need. Sorry you are having to go throught this, but I understand that once that switch flips that enough is enough, you'll do what it takes to get out.
  7. OH THAT'S RICH!! And she actually expected your husband to leave the home and come stay with them at the hotel they were staying in while they were in for a visit!! You GOTTA start your own thread! "Worst mother in law stories poker"
  8. I saw an interview with her on Ellen. She said the crazy costumes and looks is a way to include the people who in school are often considered the "outcasts" or the "freaks". She said she was one of the "freaks" in school and understood how it feels to be unwelcome by some. She later sang a song while playing the piano that she had written for her father to encourage him to go have a heart surgery done that he needed She has a beautiful voice and I found a whole new respect for her, her talent, and the way she chooses to express it.
  9. Well ya knew SOMEONE was gonna go there eventually!
  10. Chupacabra again. Nothing to see here people. Move on.
  11. Rained here last night and my sinuses are paying for it this morning............groan.......
  12. Breakfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gray.
  13. Those pictures are so so surreal and some of them very iconic. Thanks for posting!
  14. Have to check out Joe's..............I google the question at hand and Tequila's came up as delivery, but there website says nothing about it.
  15. So sorry for your loss. I know how heartbreaking it can be to lose a beloved pet family member. My St. Francis of Assisi watch over Riley and escourt him to the other side.
  16. Next time the technician comes out, take his picture, and tape it up inside the unit. Problem soloved!
  17. Just curious..........where did you get your yellow diamond? I've been looking for one.
  18. Boy I had a doozie last night! No more "Independence Day", "V", or "The Sixth Sense" for me! I have realized I dream in color, very vivid and detailed, and in last night's dream I was the opposite sex! Anybody else dream in color? Or every dream you were the opposite sex? I wonder what it means to have such vivid dreams? Just that my mind has one heck of an imagination?? Either way I woke up just a laughing trying to tell my husband about it! He already thinks I weird, so it's all good! But he loves me!
  19. Our bill actually went down a little this month. It was over $500 last month and is $490 something this month. We are cooling abouit 3000sf, 2 story house, 2 air units, and both kids home for the summer from college and private boarding school.
  20. Geesh! After reading these my story seems rather dull! When my we got married this past October (yes, we're newlyweds!) we really didn't know the pastor all that well. I had found him on the internet, we'd met with him a couple of times. He seems like a nice Godly man. We wrote our on vows and he went briefly through what he would be saying and how we wanted the ceremony to go. So on the day of our wedding, there we stand about to exchange vows, and the pastor pulls out a bag of M&M's out his pocket and says something about how the different colors and shapes go together to
